It's looking pretty good so far, if you added a bit more background sound effects or maybe some music it could be pretty fantastic.
I like this quite a lot. Great work, nswihart.
The animation appears to play at a slow frame rate, however, it is done in a manner that allows it to flow nicely and let the audience appreciate the art of stop motion animation. The run cycles are particularly nice as are the changing facial expressions and the water animation with the LEGO stud pieces. Overall, I like set design. Using paper as both the land and the water is very creative and looks great.
Top-notch dialogue and vocal performances as well.
I'll keep an eye out for the finished film!
Haha, that was funny, it's almost like a mockery and parody of the entire LEGO City line (especially with the coast guard part). The dialogue is great, and the story is quite funny. I'm looking forward to the final film. ![]()
I loved this when you showed it to me in chat. The animation is pretty good, you did a nice job animating on a smooth surface without having jumpy movements. The story so far is very intriguing and very funny. I really look forward to the finished product!
Like what the others said, the film could use some music, and some more sound effects. The part when the criminal was destroying the boats and hitting the people with his jet ski would largely benefit with sound. The sets could also be more detailed, but it isn't so lacking that it hurts the eye. Only something to think about.
Nice work Nswihart!
