The Nedaloni's Rise of Tony - The beginning

Utube

The Nedaloni's Rise of Tony was a very important project to me, but due to lack of space right now, I had to put this aside and worked on a few other smaller projects. However this one somehow went into the mist and I had forgotten all about it. I am very happy after scrolling through my computer to have come to find it again.

Only two scenes were completed at this stage.

Now I am uploading it and hope you all enjoy! I do hope one day to return to this and continue it.

Also this was completed a little while back, but it is a great feeling to have found it and now able to share it.

Feedback is appreciated!

Sincerely,
Divine.

Re: The Nedaloni's Rise of Tony - The beginning

Although it's unfinished, I really enjoyed this. Excellent work, Divine!

A consistent element, that I have noticed, in both The Nedaloni's Rise of Tony-The Beginning, and in your other films is the attention to detail in the writing. Your writing shows great energy and life. In this film, I was very impressed with the discourse between Nedly and Tony. It conveys emotion and a bond between two characters.

One thing that could be improved upon is, perhaps, the camera work. Particularly in the second scene looking at Tony and Freddy, the camera shot feels a bit too elevated. Maybe try bringing the camera down and closer to the subjects for dialogue sequences.

Keep up the solid work! I hope you'll be able to finish this film one day.

Hey Willow Tree,

Thank you for the comforting words!
I am very happy to hear you enjoy my detail to writing, my favorite concept when doing my films is my story and lore/background of the films origin.

I couldn't agree more with you on this. At the time I did have my camera setup a little higher above ground and that is why it has the film framed like that in the second scene. This will be fixed for future films, I do appreciate the mention as at the time I felt it natural but now I do understand the concern.

Keep up the solid work! I hope you'll be able to finish this film one day.

Thanks a lot Willow Tree! I do hope to finish it one day or at least return to it and continue the story. Thanks for your the feedback!

Sincerely,
Divine.

Re: The Nedaloni's Rise of Tony - The beginning

Hey!  I too, really wnt tot see this project to completion, having had a hand in writing the series that follows this story.  I love seeing some of the subtlties that tie this into the related series.

One thing, although I like the voice acting, they characters don't sound like Italian gangsters in Chicaco (or is this part of the story with the New York Conections?), but more like Australians.  I really hope this and the full story gets told.

Hey HOO,

Sorry for my late response.
Thanks man, appreciate the comfort towards getting this completed. I long for that as well, and indeed!

That's because their not Italian Gangstas, these gangstas where the forefathers, and footsteps that led too the Italian gangstas that are seen later in Chicago. This also has no current ties with the New York connections. I will get more into this story and you'll have a better understanding as we get more into it. It'll make sense when you see its continuation.

I honestly hope for this as well, and one day I will return to it and see it get done, as soon I have more space to do so. Thats my only main concern right now is lack of space, as the scenes will require big scene settings.

Sincerely,
Divine.
