Wow, the response to this has been amazing. I'm glad a lot of people are impressed by the lighting and cinematography; it's probably the things I've put the most effort into so I'm happy to see that it's looking good. Kinda surprised to see that people seem to like the animation quality as well, as I feel it's one of the weaker aspects of the film (though this is thanks in no small part to the cheap and horrifically wobbly tripod I used for animating some scenes).

Yeah, I do feel like Tarantino has been an influence on this film (although thus far I've only ever seen one of his films so I'm not entirely sure how accurate this is). Mind you, I've also been told that the script is very Wes Anderson-esque, so make of that what you will...

Wow, was it really that long ago? It feels a lot shorter than that.
As far as a release date for the actual film goes, you'll still have to wait some time, unfortunately; I still have a load of scenes to animate. Hopefully I'll be able to get this out by March/April but it really depends on how much time I'll have and how smoothly everything runs...
