Re: THAC XII - Starts NOW!
Is the black and blue minifigure clear enough to distinguish? Then it should be okay. Otherwise you will need to clarify it.

Yes, as long as you can tell that the blue and black are touching, it is fine.
Thank you!
Wanted to clarify, if it is a torso that has a blue print with a lion (it takes up a large section of the middle of the torso) on a red torso, as its one of the older castle torsos, with blue arms and black legs is that acceptable?
I really want to confirm this.
Sincerely,
Divine.
No, that would not work. A blue piece must DIRECTLY connect to a black piece. The printing has nothing to do with it.
Alright no problem Nathan I was pretty sure it wouldn't work but wanted confirmation thank you Nathan!
If I went through that would have taken a lot of valuable time off my hands!
Sincerely,
Divine.
Let's say I have a 45 second film. 15 seconds are titles and credits and the other 30 is the actual film. Would it be ok to have, say, 20 seconds where a figure is actually moving and the other 10 are made up of dragged out frames? Or do I need to have a whole 30 seconds where something is actually moving?
Thatsfinestudios, I do believe you need 30 seconds of stop motion/animation as a minimum, that can have vfx added as long as the animation/stop motion is the main source in you're film.
@Legofan where in about 8 an half hours. So you still got time. I'm just starting to animate now
Sincerely,
Divine.

If this starts and ends at 12:00 GMT, what would that be in pacific time?
On the first page there is a link to a time converter that tells you how long THAC has been going on. Under "when does it start".
Ugh.
I really thought I would be able to do it this year, but I got building and scripting way too late. Another time.
Best of luck to you guys.

Yep, probably not gonna make it this THAC.
Yesterday morning, I got my wisdom teeth extracted, and the pain medicine that my parents got me, via a prescription, has made me really drowsy. So, all I feel like is chillaxing at home, watching television, and catching up on the Spanish homework that's due first day back to school, from holiday break, on Tuesday. All I have is a great idea that I've been wanting to put into action since November (and I was super grateful that it fit this year's contest theme), a completed five-page script, one set, and a few lines from Jay Silver. I still have to take the pictures, animate, edit, and send my entry to the host and the judges.
It was just the bad timing that caught me off-guard. I'm just so used to doing THAC in December. And when it's held the weekend before school is back in session, it's just not easy for me. Still though, I might try to finish it during the summer sometime, if I feel motivated enough to do so. And, I can only wish the best of luck to anyone still interested in entering this year's THAC. I really look forward to all the great entries that will become available tomorrow morning.
Apologies to Jay Silver.

Oh... Well, is this acceptable, then?
The bricks are only touching, but, aren't directly connected.
Thanks guys, Dyland , make sure that it is connected, just to be safe
