Current Jam: Discussing Missile Size by Dada (1988), not to be confused for the horrible 90s band of the same name.

I love cold war songs.

Re: Café Corner

Here are some things I've been listening to lately.

"Micheline" by Sun Kil Moon. Best track from the best record of the year. Paid way too much to own this on vinyl.
Anything by Nils Frahm. Had the pleasure of meeting him some months ago, though I missed his show (it was at a festival) and it still bothers me a lot.
The new Scott Walker and Sunn O))) collaboration dropped today and it's absolutely terrifying. It's also really great.
I will never get enough of this live performance by Future Islands.

Re: Café Corner

Well, hello!
Haven't seen you around for a while. Glad to see you.
Did you return just to check up real quick, are will this be an extended return?

As for me, the ROTK Complete Recordings are on sell at iTunes for 8 bucks so.... mini/wink

I've never had a Facebook page (for various personal reasons).
Is there something that can be done about this? Or should I just ignore it?

Re: Café Corner

I've found that pretty nearly every "____ films" where the ____ is a short combination of letters is taken by somebody.

Seems like it shouldn't really cause a problem for you though, considering they don't make movies.

Thanks for the warm welcoming!
I'm hoping for this to be an extended return, yes. Trying to find where all my LEGO is hidden so I can start scripting another brickfilm of mine. Not making any promises though - I've tried to do a "return" in the past and they have always failed.

Listening a heck of a lot to ON THE TELEPHONE by Ania (1984)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReylLKyS5pI

I love songs about telephones.  I think I write about one per album myself, including Cell Phone (2005), Telephone (2007), and Fon Phreakin; (2010).

So this is the kind of thing I do when I'm bored.

And for the record, if something I write seems really weird, it's most likely taken directly from the comics. Comics are weird.

Is the LEGO catalogue request form on the Shop@Home site down for anyone else, or is it just me?

Re: Café Corner

Ever lose a very important notebook or script? :C
Still looking…

(The notebook in question contained scrips for MMII and the 'romantic film' project I was still writing.)

Re: Café Corner

Ouch.

Can't say I've ever lost one of my notebooks, but I'd be devastated if I did. My feels go out to you, dew.
