This is an entry (a medieval film) for the Brickfilming Contest with the theme "A Hero's Journey" hosted by Fancy Pants.

I loved the part when the bad army attacked the village. Some of the best pans I've ever seen.
I loved the cinematic beginning, but it was difficult to follow what was happening in the middle.
Thoroughly well made film. the lack of dialogue was a nice change from the usual standard fare and the camera work was really really good. The animation, although smooth and really lovely at times was almost over-animated, some movements felt like they lacked the momentum they should carry as there were too many frames. One other gripe was the 'swoosh' sound effects seemed a bit too fake and high pitched, but other than that this was very good.
Very good film. The story was very easy to follow, which is a challenge with films without any dialogue. The sets were very good, and the animation was also very nice, although, as jstudios said, some of the more action based movements were too slow, and didn't carry the weight that they should have, especially when
he's beating the slave driver. It looked like he was lightly tapping him with the staff.
Overall, great film.

Your cinematography and animation are stunning, as always. I'll agree that some of the movements were over-done and/or lacked the right weight, but overall this is incredibly impressive.
The story was nice, but the ending didn't feel quite right.
Almost like there needed to be more than just the two folks in the showdown thing.
It makes things more personal, but looses the nice scale of the rest of the film.
I loved the camera movements and most of the animation.
The part where he is beating up the slave owner looks really weird. He's doing it to slow, it makes it look like he's just taping him or something. I didn't like the park where he was fighting the dragon, it was to short and not much of a fight.
The story was nice and easy to follow, but at some parts it was a bit dull. I really wish you had a longer climax. Really good film though, 7/10.

I agree with all you, maybe the movements are a bit slow. I'll try to pay more attention next time.

I'm aware that the ending is a bit abrupt. I would have liked making longer the journey part, with more characters but didn't have time enough to do it.
We understand. Personally, this is one of my favorite brickfilms. 
The only thing I'd say about it is that some of the sound could have been better, that's all.
It's not that the ending was abrupt. It's that you purposely cut off in one part, and then you fade in and cut off again. It can be a little confusing.
On the bright side, though, this is one of my favourite entries. You set up a great story to begin with, and you got to tell of the aftermath as well. The animation, cinematography, sets, music, and the visual effects all create a thrilling environment for your entry. Awesome job!
