Here's my entry to Brawl 2014
I made this film for a competition on Bricks in Motion called Brawl.
I had to make this video within one week and include a mod element to prove that I made it within this time period (you will probably notice every shot has a red and orange brick attached together in it)
Hope you enjoy.
I liked the animation, however I felt the ending was a little rushed.
I felt that you should have shown the development under construction before showing the city.
The lighting in that first shot is amazing. The animation was good as well.
I do feel that this film is a bit rushed, though, and could benefit from a bit more development time (heh heh). And I find it odd that one character speaks only in subtitles, whereas the guy in the top hat has a spoken line.
@FlyingMinifig - The subtitles were supposed to be a stupid little joke as the top hat man (Gilbert) was slightly puzzled by him. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
I was about to comment on how there's no audio, only subtitles, and then there is. But, you've already covered that, so I'll just go ahead and congratulate you on entering your first BRAWL, and compliment you on the smooth, awesome-looking animation in this entry. Great job, Gilbert!
