Re: The Quick Short Advertising Contest [CLOSED]
A film that has been entered will be disqualified if the length of the commercial itself (not counting intro & outro) exceeds 32 seconds.
So, yeah, a little over 30.

I went and watched all of your films! The Test fire ones I actually laughed out loud at!

About 11 hours still left to go, the judges are eager to see some films! This is shaping up to be an interesting contest.
Darn it. Brickshelf deleted all my folders and files for some reason, and I don't have access to my computer to upload the files somewhere else. I only have the YouTube link which isn't the edited one to fit the length rules. All that work for nothing.
EDIT: I seem to have fixed it...for now.

Hmm... it's circumstances beyond your control, so send in a link to the YT version anyway. If you get the proper version again in the next day or so, I'll allow you to retroactively swap it in for the YT version, but only if the edited version does not have any footage that isn't in the YT version. And if you only have the longer version, you can always just submit it as a non-competition entry to see how you would have done...
Is anyone else affected by the brickshelf outage?
Edit:

I take it that means you have your proper length entry, yes?

Yes, you do. But...
Put [Ad Contest] and your forum name in the subject (of the email)
I'm just looking at the subject lines of the ones I've received, I'm not reading the emails or watching the films yet.
Joking aside, at least know I know who that one is from.
Did you receive my entry? Did it download properly?

Haha, sorry, delete that email, I'll send it again and I'll aslo email you another entry.
EDIT: I'm having a few internet speed problems, is it all right if I get the email's in a little late? iWatch has already been posted and my second entry is available through my sig, so there is proof I finished both before the deadline. It's just Google is taking an hour to load, and this post may not even get through for a while. Speeds may have picked up by this morning, though.

well, it turns out I won't be entering because my camera's USB port just got messed up
Well I got the emails through, you can delete my first email, the new ones are labelled "[Ad Contest] Riley Gray (Entry Title)"
I forgot to delete the "FW:" tag at the front of the email. It's there becuase I had to email it to myslef and make sure the links worked then forwarded them on to you.
Email sent! (hopefully) I've been editing away like crazy tonight and I'm seriously tired.
Goodnight everyone!
