Are you new? I never saw you around here:)
Yes I am new, I joined a couple of months ago and entered into this contest. You can check out my entries at http://vimeo.com/3780921 and my second http://vimeo.com/3806230. I feel that my 1st one is better, but thats just me!:)
Well, the bad news is that one of my judges pulled out - but the good news is that I have plenty of friends so I should be able to line another judge up in time to get it all done this weekend as scheduled.
(Note: I lie, I don't have any friends. I'll kidnap a random stranger... )
What is the earliest you think you will be getting the results on the web, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

Your
Your what?
I think he meant "you are", as in "no, you are looking for trouble".
DoubleVstudios and brick4brains: Both of you have taken this too far. Take it outside.

As stated in the first post, and a little earlier, there is an awards chat pencilled in for Monday morning WA time (which would be Sunday night or afternoon for Europe and the US). At this chat I'm hoping to announce the results, and after that I'd post them here in this thread.
The reason I say that the chat has been "pencilled in" is because there is a chance that the judging might take a little longer than anticipated. I have a meeting with the second Judge tomorrow will view the films and cast their votes and hopefully the third one the day after - which would mean that the announcement of results would go ahead as planned.
Update: Two judges down, one more to go!
Nobody said that they did in the email, so I'm going to say no. There were a few people that said things like "I don't need the camera" here in the thread but none of the emails said "non-competition entry". I didn't think that there would be too many such entries though - everybody loves free stuff!
In related news, currently the awards chat is pencilled in for 6am Monday Perth time, which would be around 11pm Sunday night in London, 6pm Sunday in New York and 3pm Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
I'm sure most people should be able to work out their local time from that list.
The votes from the three judges are in and are being tallied as I write.
Results will be up in the awards chat in approximately 10 hours.
Edit: Wow, what a result! The scores have been totalled and winners chosen. Out of a maximum possible score of 90, the highest scoring film got 72, the second highest was 70 and the third highest was 69! Only three points between them! I'll tell everyone which films won in the morning.
I'm such a horrible tease!

Awards chat will be starting in the IRC channel in about six minutes.
Click "Chat" at the top of this page to join (you'll need an irc client).
How do you get onto your channel?
You need ChatZilla or some other IRC client
Yeah. Run a google search for "irc" and you ought to find a bunch of pages with how to get into it.
Probably a little late, but use this: http://www.mirc.com/
For windows, quick install and easy to use. Chat is starting now, see you inside if you make it.
Yeah, but how do we chat with you
