Topic: Lego Soldiers

Hello,
I am trying to build up an army of lego Western and Imperial Pirate soldiers for school projects involving history.
I want to use the armys to create a battle moc hopefully that will get more of my classmates interested in legos
and maybe history.

Imperial Pirate Soldiers:

I HAVE:
Redcoats: 8
Bluecoats: 0

I NEED:
Redcoats: 20
Bluecoasts 30

I am currently buying more soldiers off of ebay for the moc but I need more since
all the high amounts of soldiers sold usually are out of my budget.


WESTERN:

I HAVE:
Blue Soldiers: 0
Grey Soldiers: 0

I NEED:
Blue Soldiers: 40 - 90
Grey Soldiers: 40- 90

If you have any of the soldiers listed below and that you are willing to
give some away please post here mini/smile

Types of soldiers:
~Bluecoats
~Redcoats
~Blue Uniformed Civil War (like soldiers)
~Greay Uniformed Civil War (like soldiers)

You can only get custom made gray soldiers, as Lego doesn't make them. Hope this helps!

Relax Kinzcove, Blue solders are a little rare and people might not want to give them up, at $3 - $6 a piece on Bricklink it is going to me hard to get 30.  I have three Imperial Soldiers and 2 Officers (the bluecoats) but I don't really  want to give them up

Anyway, sounds like a good project. An impressive Lego MOC makes for an awesome school project, I speak from experience.

That's not really a reason to take it out on people who aren't a part of it.

On topic, how much are you prepared to spend on this project? Lego isn't cheap...

1. What else do I have to do, breaking glass and punching pillows, screaming yelling and crying don't work.

2. I will spend anywhere in the price range UNDER 100 DOLLARS

It means "good game". Generally it's said in a gaming context, after a team has won and the game has ended.

Lego (or LEGO, maggosh mini/wink) is a word like "sheep". The plural is the same as the singular. Eg you wouldn't say "There's legos all over my floor", you'd say "There's Lego all over my floor!".

Anyway, just use ebay then. When's the deadline for this assignment of yours?

I think so too.  large minifig cast is pretty damn expensive, especially for minifigs like soldiers.

You might find a bulk lot of soldiers on ebay but i'm not to sure that you will be able to afford them all.

You are after 20 Redcoats, 30 Bluecoats, 90 Blue and 90 gray soldiers? Even at $1 each, that's still $230 (not counting postage) and the cheaper minifigs are normally around USD$1.50 - more if you are outside the US.

You'll need to either increase your budget or decrease your ambition. Half the numbers might be a bit more do-able while still being relatively impressive.

Its not an assignment, Im doing it for fun, I have a few weeks, and yes Im buying stuff of ebay but blue coats and civil war like soldiers is where I get stuck.

BTW: Does anyone know a website where they sell custom made grey soldiers?

I remember being at our cottage when I was really young...

I lost one of my blue coat minifigs under the back porch mini/sad

Years later we temporeraly moved the planks it fell between (not because of the minifig mini/tongue ) but it wasn't there mini/blankexpression

I can Imagine that the bluecoat minifigs are pretty rare, but if you find some western sets...
