Topic: Preview for The Samurai

This is both a preview, and my first real test for Dragonframe and shaky cam. Let me know what you think.

Re: Preview for The Samurai

I liked the animation of the leaves parting. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the first person view; I think it's interesting, but doesn't really suit the scene. If that is the shot layout from the film, I think it's a little hard to follow; at least one shot of the character walking toward the alter thing with the alter in the frame, to visually establish what is happening. The whole sequence felt a little too tight. Your animation is improving though. mini/smile

Re: Preview for The Samurai

I think I might swap that shot, and replace it with the character walking towards the alter. I was thinking it felt a little disjointed.

Really good, although your zoom is a bit shaky. If you were going for the handheld look, I'd suggest reshooting it still instead.

Re: Preview for The Samurai

Interesting, but I felt it was all too fast and a bit disjointed.

No rush. I'm hoping within the week or two to be able to send out the rest of the scripts.
