This is quite an amazing set IMO..
The detail put into this set is just insane.. 
One of my favorite parts is the use of the original smiley-face. Being a long-time LEGO fan, I just adore those faces. You don't see those very much anymore. (In recently released sets, anyway.)

Yeah, that set is beautiful. I love the colors. I may end up buying it if I manage to save my money for it. It ould be my first modular set.
Nearly all the modular building sets use the traditional smiley face. They are gorgeous.
Plainbrick, do you know the main color for the building? I don't think I've seen it before.
Olive green?
I believe that's whatever their new "CHIMA green" is, something really close to Olive Green like jampot said.
That set isn't really all that unique. It has average architecture and I think the only part I would have trouble building would be those two clams on the roof (since I don't own the white clams)
Everything else could be made with all of your own LEGO.

Oh, I guess I haven't looked at many modular building sets.. 
Okay. Looks a bit green/gold to me fromt he photos I've seen. Carroll films, you can wind up buying white clams on bricklink and pay a lot less than a whole set for it.

Yep, it's olive green according to the official review.
I don't really buy sets for the architecture and the techniques used, I buy them for the pieces and minifigures. I don't think buying those 2000+ pieces individually on bricklink or ebay would be cheaper than picking up a copy of a set like this.

Is it just me or do the Ninjago sets seem...lacking?
Anyway are these two worth it?
The golden dragon looks awesome and is a reasonable price, but the mechdragon is odd. It's a mishmash of pieces and in my opinion not worth the price.

Indeed, I'd most likely just take the pieces and use them for something else.
I don't really see a lot of useful bricks in there, at least not for brickfilming, and I'm not a fan of Ninjago, so I'll definitely stay away from those; especially since there are so many good sets coming this year.

I am gonna stay away from the mechdragon (unless I can find it really cheap) but I'll most likely get the golden dragon.
Are the amount of pieces in the Mixels sets worth the price?
Yes, if you want the joints. I'll be getting loads of Mixels because I'm starting to make lots of brickbuilt monsters for my upcoming brickfilms.

Just... That plane looks so gorgeous omg. After the 60019 i got from my trip to London, i absolutely want more Lego planes, to maybe make an airfield some day. This one just looks perfect and i wannit nao

Yeah, i really like the older lego since i think it's simpler and better than the new lego. And the figures are usually cool and not only usable for one or two themes (Chima anyone?). I mostly like the stuff from end 90's - begin 00's.
