FINALLY SEEN IT!!!

Honestly? This movie is now in my Top 20 of all time. For me personally, it's up there with The Matrix, Ghostbusters and The Usual Suspects - I loved it so much! There's so much I could say about it but I won't now, 'coz tired and stuff.

So good. SO GOOD!

I wish I could afford the airfares to fly to a country it's released in and see it right now. Unfortunately I'll be waiting another six and a half weeks.

I personally think the opposite, I loved the spastic animation. It gave a brickfilm-like quality to it.

Actually the part stop motion mentioned looks just to be the rebrick entries in the film.

I'm 97% sure that the credits animation was all real stop-motion.  You could tell.

I was pretty positive that the credits are all stop motion but didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong

Those credits were beautiful, people kept giving me weird looks when I was the last person in the theater and still watching the credits.

I wish there were more than just two sets with Benny in. Even if I had a job, there's no way I'd be able to shell out £80 or £190 for the spaceship or the Sea Cow (as much as I would want to, I don't know that I'd be able to justify spending that much on LEGO in one hit).

It's a shame because I have a bunch of classic Space sets that were my dad's, but I only have two red spacemen, which is still pretty cool. I do want Benny though. He's probably my favourite character, him or Metalbeard.

There's a classic space set again.  I need to get that so much.

It's a shame though that Benny has fake scratches, though, it looks rather weird.  It's also a bit sad how there are four different versions of uni-kitty, as it wold be really annoying for someone who had the sea-sick version but not the original.

On the subject of stop motion and CGI, if there are, indeed, random scenes where they actually animated stop motion right in the middle of the film,  these shots may possibly be only partially stop motion with perhaps CGI elements in the background, which could make them even harder to spot.

I stayed for the credits and heard it all in theaters.
