For any Star Wars: Battlefront fans out there... I'm making my own variation based on it.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Wow, Olsonstudios, I'm in awe.

All those frames look amazing, well done! I'm a huge fan of Star Wars: Battlefront, especially the second installment which I've probably played more than any other video game in my entire collection. Anyway, judging by those frames, I have no doubt that your video will end up being superb!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Nice! The concept is amazing, I take it that this is a video about Star Wars: Battlefront?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

@Olsonstudios Those are some beautiful frames you've got there. Knowing what your animations are normally like, I can tell this is going to be bloooooooming brilliant.

@funmiproductions Good attempts, but try to fill the frame better. In both frames, your characters are bunched up in the sides of the image. Also, in the first frame, you should try and copy Harry's angle a bit more accurately. He's looking across the space from the right edge of the frame, and tilted downards. Hope this helps!

How's the new Harry pic?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

The new image looks about the same as the other one, with the exception of dimmer lighting and the minifigure standing a little closer to the centre of the image. I think I would go with Jampot's advice, and hunch the figure over just a little bit more.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I think the new image is a huge improvement.
The angle seems good enough, now you just need to get closer to the figure.

You should try to bend him over a bit, or -if possible- position your camera so that it looks down on him very slightly. Getting closer would make it even better.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I broke my last light bulbs. Until I go shopping later, I cant recreate the harry photo for now. Here's something else I made earlier

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Not bad, but maybe putting a mostly-covered-up flashlight or two in the background for the lights would be beneficial. Also maybe sticking some of these pieces around the outside of the opening would take away the current sense of blandness (it is kind of bland at the moment, nothing but a minifigure and a white wall with a black hole in it.

Work on the chroma keying a little more.

One from my upcoming film, TREE:

Apple going for a ride

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That frame looks great Isaac! I love the bridge design.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That frame looks amazing, could we see some pictures of the set?

Also, Rockydude, it looks pretty nice, but the positioning of Andrew Garfield seemes a little off, and they both seem to be quite low down in the frame.

Those are actually Funmi Production's' frames, not Rockydudes.

AnimationIsaac, that looks pretty cool. I'm curious about your film.

It's going to be a short 2-3 minute long brickfilm I'm going to release in the next few weeks about a tree and an unfortunate (and fortunate) turn of events. mini/tongue

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Wait, do you film on your floor? How do you get such a low angle with that setup?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Yup, at the moment there's no room for a desk, wait, no, let me rephrase that. I've been animating on the floor for 6 years and haven't ever got around to buying a desk mini/XD  With the low angle, I just place my DSLR on the floor by itself and so far I have never bumped it!
