This is a great idea! It could be a little overwhelming with all of the individual scenes and the due dates for those, but we should definitely try it.
Should there be a new thread, or will it continue in this one? I suggest a new thread, it would most likely draw more attention.

We could do either, but it feels more traditional to continue off this. It might be a bit more practical to start a new thread though.

I'm consider myself a pretty active member and I have no intent of giving up the hobby so when it comes time I'm willing to post the new thread.

Silly me I'm so oblivious to hints sometimes. But before any new threads are posted we need to finalize which of the recently mentioned ideas should be included or if we should mix them or have more than one new thread for separate types of challenges.

I definitely agree. We don't want to get ahead of ourselves and create pointless threads.

Well, I'm not sure if anyone saw, but a few pages back I changed it to any type of fight scene, since it seemed that no one entered since recreating a movie fight scene was to hard.
Here's my entry! Fight scene starts at around 1:40.
I saw this challenge and decided to enter this video in for kicks.
Well, I think entries are suppose to be made for The Animation Challange, but since no one else joined, I'll accept it, deadline is Dec 12th. If anyone wants to join they better do it fast.
About the new thread, I think first we should figure out exactly what's going to happen, then we present it to FancyPants. I believe he should make the new thread it's only fair to everyone and it carries out the tradition too (he made the original thread). And no, it isn't biased decision because he's my favourite animator.
