It just popped up one day saying that I could do it.
Hmm... I'm guessing that after a while, they approve all the accounts that haven't been verified already (that's probably what the first and third bullets on the page you linked meant).
If my account isn't approved by the time I finish Bricks: Episode 1, I'll do the phone verification thing.
Either way, I'll be able to upload it in its entirety.

UPDATE (and MEGA BUMB):
I finished putting in the rest of the sound effects yesterday!
All that's left to do is get and put in the lines from Jargon and the title card from JK, put in other title cards, credit cards, and some Incompetech music.
Goodness gracious goodness me!! Does this mean the first episode is almost out?!! This is the moment I have been waiting for for soooo long!! 
But seriously, I have been looking forward to this for a really long time. Remember I almost voiced in it? Well I read the script and all, so for everybody who is looking forward to it, I can assure you that it is great. OMGOMGOMG i seriously cannot wait for this man

I can't work on the audio today, some of my relatives are coming over today. I'll work on the audio for the rest of the week, though.
I've figured out an estimated length for Episode 1: 12 minutes.
What? I've been working on 12 minute animation for over a year?! Well, I did take a lot of breaks from filming. I had two really big breaks (more than a month). One of those breaks was when my laptop was getting fixed last December.
I love episodic comedic series. Before starting my own and joining BiM, I watched several on youtube, especially loved Joe Brickmond. Where is that now?! It's great to see longer episodes too, which I enjoy. Lookinf fwd to watching.

Great! I love to see more sitcom based series. I'm still hoping TopItMonkeyDog produces the hipster series he mentioned a while back. Minifig051, are you still looking for voices for supporting chars? I'd love to try out.
Oh yeah... This thing...
The bulk of the editing is done, the only things missing at this point are the title/credit cards, the music, and one of Furst's lines.
I haven't been doing much with it lately.
Excuse: I still haven't gotten that title card from JK and Jargon missed a line.
Actual Reason: Minecraft. 'Nuff said.
I'll keep you in mind for future episodes, HoldingOurOwn. Though Squid is going to be my go-to guy for most voices (because he's a good voice actor, can do many voices, and is part of the regular cast).

I'm still hoping TopItMonkeyDog produces the hipster series he mentioned a while back.
I'm still considering doing this but it likely won't be done with legos because i'm getting frsutrated with the limitations of brickfilms. So I'd likely start learning drawn animation (perhaps à la Bee And PuppyCat) to make this
