Topic: Rocky-1 | Update Thread

THIS... IS... ROCKY-1!!!

Rocky-1 is an Action/Adventure/Shience Fikshon (I spelled it wrong on purpose... Don't judge.) trilogy where the year 2012 was 2012 years ago (I hope you understand it, if not read it again and again.) and there are 3 heroes who need to save the world from the evil Lord Rigbone. If they fail, the universe itself will crumble into pieces and explode violently.(I don't think that's in the budget... -Executive Producer)

Will YOU watch EVERY part?

You know what, never mind. I really need to read everything before commenting. Sorry.

Re: Rocky-1 | Update Thread

Well Zach, unlike several of your other topics, this one has a real positive, nice feel to it.
It also seems to be something doable, and interesting. While you don't have much to share right now, it gives an idea of the story, and pitches its unique element well. (The dog)

I wish you the best of luck on this, and look forward to seeing more progress.
Trust me Zach, this is the type of project that can really help give you a nice reputation. Plus, if you pull of the dog's integration well, then this will prove your creativity and ingenuity beyond a shadow of a doubt. As a tip, I recommend waiting to post the next update until you have something concrete to share. (Script is done, major set is complete, opening scene is filmed, or something like that.) But until then, don't give out too much. Teasers are nice, but be sure not to spoil things.

Re: Rocky-1 | Update Thread

It's exciting to see you animate something, Zac. It's been a while (not including our contest entry) since you've come out with a new film. While I don't really like dogs, the storyline of this project does interest me some. Best of luck on this!

P.S. This should probably go in the Pre-Production thread. Just sayin'. mini/wink

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Rocky-1 | Update Thread

I'd say more so in the production thread if you'll be updating us on it.

Anyway, glad you're going to be finally making a brickfilm, it's best to leave a good first impression without trying anything too ambitious. I have no idea how you'll pull off integrating a corgi into it, but I hope it turns out well.

Exactly what MasterLego didn't do last night.

Thank you, Pritchard!

If there is a problem with where it is, the staff will move it.

I have four words for you: peanut-butter filled pretzels. And thank you.

Re: Rocky-1 | Update Thread

Ok, ignore all of the things about a corgi dog. Things have been a bit hectic lately with school and other things and I won't have the time to get Rocky to collaborate. Hope you still watch, though!

Aw man! I was actually intrigued by the original idea of the astronaut minifigures landing on a live dog.
