Crown of Syracuse
This film was created in 2007 for the brickfilms.com IDEA contest, and was awarded first place. It tells the story of the Greek inventor Archimedes as he struggles to solve a difficult problem for the king.
I have this downloaded on my computer. This is such an awesome brickfilm!
Your special effects amaze me.
The opening scene is quite epic, you have a habit of doing that!
Story and photography was also very good, it kept me watching till the end.
I have to say I'm not a fan of arm raising figs for dialogue, but that's just me.
A very good film you continually raise the bar that brickfilmers aspire to.
But 2 years old I can't wait to see what your working on now.

I keep forgetting about this film. I always liked the digital effects you did in this. The water on the barrels was good.
I think I'm gonna use some of the frames for the NTF(CC) thread.
Thanks, as I was filming it I knew that there was some potential caption contest material, not a week after its release Nathan Wells posted a shot of Archimedes in the buff as the new caption contest image.
I remember that, which is why I was thinking of it.
