The thread for posting production stills or sets or whatever you want for how your Contrast entry may be going.
Me and fellow BiM member ZacharySplosh are gonna collaborate to make an entry. So far, nothing has really come of it. However, I think he's busy writing up a screenplay. When I get back from holiday, we'll get to work on the animation.
That's cool. It's a good idea to write down any ideas you come up with, never know when they'll come in handy. Anyway I've come up with a pretty good idea [for me anyways] for this contest so I'm pretty excited to get working on it.
I still don't have an idea.... 
Wow, nice work. I still have to come up with a concrete plot for my film because it's so complicated, surprised to hear someone's already started animating.
I have a basic outline, started a script, have the characters designed, and started set designs.

Whipped up a quick test set, made a before and after cropping and doing colour correction.

Looks nice!
The poster kinda messes up the clean, plain and sterile look, but I love the in-set lighting.
You may want to go over the color-correction again, as the wall got a bit too purple-y IHMO.
It is a lot better than the sickly yellow, so if you have to pick one, go for the purple wall.
Thanks, I think I will get rid of the poster actually, doesn't fit too well. Also I did slightly different colour correction for the last two frames and that's what I'll use for this scene, so I don't really need to worry about purple walls.
It's not the best looking frame from the available footage, but here it is anyway.
Right now it's half-way through a pan, so there's not really one building or the other than I'm trying to focus on.
I may mess with the color-correction and/or contrast later, but I'd like a little feedback first.
That lighting looks a little bit strange, not really like a real city, though, I assume it's for some sort of dramatic effect.

So, guys, I read JonnDthunDer's script, and it's looking really, really, good. I'm not saying what it is, but it's really, really good.
And I'm still helping people with ideas if they want it.
Ha, well...Ummm, I would explain, but it would involve spoilers. 
Yes, it's for dramatic effect, yes, it's like that for a reason, but if there's a way to improve it while retaining a slight unnatural feel to it, I'd be more than open to re-doing that bit when I get back from church camp.
Oh, and I'm sure Jonn has a great script, but I don't think you're supposed to announce that to the world....Especially if you've been helping several other people with ideas. It may display a bit more bias than you mean it to, and it's a bit discouraging to those with obviously lesser scripts/ideas. (AKA, me.)
That being said, I may just be over-reacting, and if so, just ignore silly old me. 
I actually have no idea who's going to win. Everyone looks like they're doing really well at this point. 
Wow, it seems everyone except me has already got a finished script. This contest has barely started and I already feel like I'm lagging behind... Right now I'm juggling several ideas around and trying to think of what would work best for my story.
Also, Squid, since you've helped out nearly everyone entering this contest, will you even be able to enter?
I just have to do one final scene, which is going to be the hardest to write and will require the most polish.
However, it doesn't need any extra voice actors, so I can start getting people to voice act and animating a little.

My studio won't be ready for a while. We're trying to get it done in time for BRAWL though. I've really been wanting to enter that. And after getting fourth place in THAC, I think I can pull it off.
I'll still consider myself lucky to enter BRAWL. I've been sick every year I've been on BiM previously.
I don't know how many people I've helped. I really don't. But I feel like being part of the contest as much as possible even if I can't actually animate anything. And I'm really good with quick but decent story concepts.
So I've started recruiting voice actors and whatnot seeing as the last scene doesn't require any new ones.
I'll be having loads of background people as well anyway so if you're even remotely interested in being in my Contrast entry then just send me a PM or something.
Thanks to Squid, I now have a general idea of what I want to do. 
Well, scratch that. I'm not liking how my idea is turning out. Man, I was really hoping to enter this If I don't get another idea soon I might just try my chances at BRAWL instead.
