An Unexpected Encounter

During a stroll through the forests of Greenwood, a young Saruman has a rather unexpected (and unwanted) encounter with a mysterious being...

The footage is from a few months ago, and I edited it this afternoon, which is why it's so bad. The angles are terrible, the quality of some of the shots is terrible, and there's a hideous amount of light flicker.

All in all I'm not actually that pleased with it. I haven't animated anything since December, so I'm really really out of touch. It's going to take me a while to get back into the swing of things. Plus, I need to get used to all-Mac software.

For starters, it was really good!

Of course you pointed out the main problem already, light flicker. My only other suggestion would be to have added more plants or rocks on the ground.

I really liked the set, character design (Saruman could have used a beard though), and the slender sequence made me laugh!

Thanks! I kind of know what you mean about the beard, although it is meant to be young Saruman, who I always pictured as being clean-shaven, kinda' like Legolas in the movies.
