These were all for my english class. One of my friends made a video on arms for biology but deleted it in a fit of teen angst.

My Laws of Newton video and my Censorship PSA were both school projects, and both were met with much praise!

The former got me invited to a special principals breakfast at the end of the semester (it was very awkward, as everyone else was invited for doing things like tutoring and ridiculous amounts of volunteering and stuff like that).

The latter was was part of a PSA competition that was held by the language department. Groups inside of each class would vote on their favorite video, and the winners in each class would go on to be voted on by the rest of the school to decide the winner. I won the class vote, but lost in the main vote, as at that point it became a competition of whose video featured the most popular student.

No I'm fine thanks. I also just started the topic not just for me, but for everybody else who needs help with their school projects that are brickfilms. I think it's great to be able to brickfilm for school. It's a way to get your work out, and it shows your teachers/school what you enjoy doing.

the great part is, no matter how bad a film is that you show at any sort of public school, most of the class will be impressed regardless. I showed that Santa film, which isn't horrible, but the animation is almost painful to watch and the voice acting is incomprehensible. Afterwards the people were like, WOAW you made legos move! So if that's your audience you don't always have to make it perfect, although it's nice to have something really really impressive.

That sort of thing happened to me with a film I made when I was in 8th grade. The film I made was incredibly choppy (it was like 6.5 fps or something) and had tons of focus flicker and light flicker.
I didn't think it was bad at the time, but after I was able to make better animation I didn't want my mom to show it as an example of my animation to people that come over anymore (she showed it to people a few times before).

I have made some better things for school projects since then, but I had to spend a lot of my time working on it to get it in on time and still have it be the quality I want it to be.

I made this when I was 17 for my final year film for Media Studies, got an A. It's true, you really can make any old crap and it blows teachers/other students away.
