Hey everyone, I just finished this test and I would like some commentary to improve the effect of the lightsaber! If you have anything to say or tell me how it looks that would be amazing. Thanks everyone!

Well, we can't have gray sabers can we?
What's happening here?
Can that be smoothed out? By the looks of the rest of the video, you know how to mask, have you considered using the masking tool instead of the Lightsaber plugin? If not, like the tutorial states, boost the shutter speed.
Boost the glow and if you're not set to Screen, set it to Screen.
Great! I thought they were really well done, maybe consider some flashes or lens flare when the lightsabers come in to contact with each other though.

I'll be sure to try that, I did notice this, but I figured that the render engine I use would blend it so I was not that concerned about it. However I see now that it did'nt so I'll go back to the project and keep working out the kinks.

I agree that there should be a flash when the sabers collide; other than that I loved it.
