Re: *The Official Minifigure Critique Thread*
Here I like number 2 best, but I suppose a cape matching the color of the hood would fit better? Sorry to just change every thing on the fig, lol xD

Unfortunately I don't have any differently-colored capes of that size, or any other hoods besides brown (which I'd rather not use).
Ooh, I just found the legs that came with that torso (Minifigures Series 3 Elf). How does it look?

It looks far better! I would most certainly stick with this one!
The printed legs are definitely the best. But shouln't you have a dark green cape as well? The minifigure with those body and legs had one.

Hm, I don't like that as much, the short cape makes him look a bit more agile in my opinion.
I like that last one, but to me those arms don't look so good with the rest of the fig...
(Lol, I'm weird xD )
Do you mean you like it with the long cape better than the short?
And what color would you recommend for arms?
I think the long cape definitely looks better--it's the same colour as the hood, and I prefer the longer length (short capes usually look a bit odd on regular minifigs, in my opinion).
The arms look good to me too, though you could also try reddish brown arms which might fit in more with the legs.
Yes, the long cape looks best. I think dark green arms too would fit in with the rest of the minifig.
Here are a few more.

And just for grins, brown arms with Boba Fett's cape:
Dark green arms with quiver:
Dark green arms and cape:
This last one is definitely my favorite.
I like the last one, because the arms match the hood/cape.
2nd to last is lovely, the green arms make the character feel more "natural," especially without the cape. If you are going for an epic hero rather than a stealthy person keep the brown arms.
Yeah, I'm going for more of a "stealthy person," as you put it, so I'll stick with the green arms.
The 2 last ones are best, IMO. The stealthiest one is probably the one with the quiver..
I'd like to get your opinion on some of my Doctor Who Characters (More coming later):
Weeping Angel Wings
River Song and a Weeping Angel
Dalek (from my How To Build Videos)
Now, how in the world did you build those wings?
EDIT: Never mind, I see.

They look good, though the wings look too wide--I'd recommend using a "corner plate" instead of a 1x3 and two 1x2s. I didn't know there was a double-sided Darth Vader head...
The angel looks pretty good, but the hair just looks too manly.
The Dalek looks a bit chunky. Allow me to recommend my design:

I agree about the chunkiness but I'd like to stick with my design.
