Re: Batman Instant Freeze Animation Preview

Most of the clips go by too quickly to analyze, but here's what I did catch:

#1-Walking clip. There's a bad series of camera bumps, the guys arms don't swing, and his body jumps back and forth a lot. (The latter issue would be hidden considerable if his arms were swinging.)
The smoke looks good, and as I said before, the lighting and set are both great.

#2-Fighting clip. Can't see much on this one, looks like Bats is twisting back and forth with his arms straight out, and Freeze reacting a tiny bit, but generally just chilling. mini/tongue
The camera movements appear to be intentional, but they're not that great. (I've seen worse though!) A good looking shaky cam is really hard to master, so until you can do one well, I suggest doing it in post and filming the clips normally.

#3-Map/Plans/2X2 Tile Clip. No movement but the smoke, super-short. The lighting is a bit too bright and cheery.

#4-Town Hall Ext. Clip. Good, no problems noted.

A recurring problem is that the smoke is overlayed onto the clip, and isn't tracked to the camera bumps/shakes. So it appears to shake around relative to the set, thus making the camera bumps look all that much worse. I am aware that most of the comments are negative, but with super-short clips it's easier to spot the bad stuff.

Thanks Pritchard

And I wasn't happy with how the quality turned out on Youtube.
Any ideas on how to get the best quality possible?:/
