Topic: Lava test

I haven't put any tests on here for a long time...been keeping them all to myself mini/tongue
Anyway, here's the test http://youtu.be/zek0OGcLrdk mini/smile
Yes, I know it's a weird set... The set is part of BULB, a new film I'm doing.

Re: Lava test

Nice! You nailed the slow, bubble-y nature of lava.
I wouldn't change a thing.

Re: Lava test

Wow. That's really good!

The only thing which would really improve it would be having it be transparent and glow, though, you probably don't have enough bricks for that.

But there really should be a few random black plates on top, since the top of real lave usually has several black spots.

Re: Lava test

Wow, thanks mini/smile And thanks for the feedback!
@ANP. Yeah, you're right; I don't have enough bricks for that, but, I do have enough bricks for (random black plates on top) mini/tongue

Re: Lava test

Wow that lava smoothness is awesome! mini/smile And I agree with the others. You are talentic man!

Re: Lava test

Whoa... you really got the "feel" of the lava right. Loved it!

Re: Lava test

Now that's brilliant. You really got the movement of the lava down perfectly. Nice.

Re: Lava test

Looks really great! mini/smile  I'd agree with ANP that transparent plates would look work really well, but it's unlikely to be practical.  Great work!

Thanks everyone! mini/smile

Re: Lava test

Wow, great lava! I did like how the bricks seemed to warp a little rather than simply moving up and down.
