Re: Lego set You Want
I'm on mobile so I can't post images.
I've just been wanting to have The Medieval Market Village and Attack on Weathertop so badly.

I've got the Medieval Market Village, and it's a great set. It's one of those sets you want to buy two of so you have one for building and one just for spares because it has so many awesome bricks.
I got one too. It was a hard thing to take it apart (emotionally), but I needed the pieces. Anyways, right now I just want bricks (bulk). I'd also go for some western sets, if lego brings them back (hoping they make it now, after passing on cuusoo).
I would really like lot's of LEGO sets.
All the new crime fighting LEGO sets look pretty cool. I wouldn't mind getting some of those.
I want all the hard to find sets , but all of it together cost more than 1k
That's because they have jobs
That's the target age range based on the subject matter and the complexity of the build.
And don't pay any attention to it, it's only there because
A) So that some ten year old won't go and grab an UCS set only to whine later because it's too hard to build.
B) To help those who are giving Lego as a gift pick the right sets.
And just for your info, there are some "16+" sets.
El Bump.
I'm considering getting these two sets, but I'm not entirely sure, mainly because they're rather expensive for what they offer and I'm quite cash-strapped at the moment.
I mainly want to get these because of the parts (like the microfigs) and the minifigs... (especially the SW ones, which I predict will skyrocket in price once this set is discontinued. )
On the whole, though, these are quite low on my LEGO Shopping List (due to the factors listed above). I still hope to get Anakin's Jedi Interceptor, the Desert Skiff, and Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape--and that's not even including some of the upcoming 2013 sets, which look great as well--so I'm not even sure if I'll get a chance to get them...
What do you think, yay or nay?
You know... This is the star wars set that I most wanted the Lego Group to produce. I even called them on the telephone as a suggestion. And now that it's a reality, I hate it! Except for the minifigures and vehicle. The Chancellor's throne room is the same type of design in the Hulk's helicarrier set. I wanted to see something like the real room with the real hallway. I'm building what I think it should look like in LDD.

I absolutely LOVE the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit sets.
Any of those would be at the top of my imaginary 'wish list'.
For all you guys hung up on the issue of how expensive LEGOs are (they are way overpriced in my opinion) have you tried looking on ebay for the sets you want? I have ordered several brand new sets off ebay for much reduced prices. You can find some amazing deals on ebay on brand new sets.
I only buy off the actual LEGO website when they are having some offer like free shipping or something

Try bricklink if you want a good price for individual pieces.
I would like a huge box of just plain bricks. Mainly 2x4s but I do want all kinds of bricks. Right now I'm having to use canvas panels a backdrops for my brickfilms
I'm planning on starting an epically massive monster drama called Vampire Cinema, in which these sets would be very useful
Particularly the last one. My current vampire from the LEGO minifigures series is always smiling, whereas this guy here has an expression more fitting for the protagonist Lord Redgrave's general mood through most of the film. His alternate expression would work very well for when he's about to feed.
And all of these sets generally have useful pieces what would be great in a monster film.
US:official&biw=1280&bih=853&tbm=isch&tbnid=tN4 hers a link:)
I would LOVE to have these two:
$180.
Possibly a whopping $150 when it's released!
I really want Bag End, but it's a lot of money, and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Can anyone who already has it tell me if it worth it or not? I'd really appreciate second and third opinions before I shell out £60 (might be £70, can't remember).

I have it. It's seventy USD here.
I really liked it. Though it is pretty pricy.
On an upside, it had a whole bunch of really good and rare pieces. I'm particularly fond of the yellow flowers since I do outside films a bunch, and I've never had yellow before, it also has some tree pieces at the top, and I've really been wanting more tree pieces. And then you have all of that food. I really liked Dwallin's hair piece, though, I'd imagine it's not useful for a lot of people. But just the detail on the set it's really, really delightful.
It all depends really on what you're planning to do with films and what other sets you're also considering.
It's not a set per se, but I'm thinking about getting this head for a Joker minifig:
I really like the expression and eyes, but I'm not entirely sure because the lips are grey rather than red and the large eyes might look a bit weird next to "normal" minifigs. Any thoughts?
