Thanks for that Jargon, I think that'll help.

Okay guys, so recently JK has finally sent me his new set of lines so I can finally animate some proper scenes. Also, just today I, once again, rebuilt the set for the first scene, which I'll post pictures of soon. Although all this sounds kind of good I still regret to say that I have not done any work on this project for a VERY long time, and I am still having trouble figuring out how to build a medieval village.

If you need some help with set making, I'd look at Nathan Wells's set make tutorials. Starting with EP 8 and going to EP 12. I hope that helps.

If you have enough Lego, this guide will help.
I've tried some of those tricks, and they work great as long as you have the right parts.
(Watch out though, that site does have some curse words. But I believe that guide's clean.
)
Wow, thanks. That looks like a really helpful tutorial (albeit very complex xD). I appreciate the help though!

Well I've finally got back into animating this again. And to celebrate, here's a picture JK drew based off one of the lines from Meat Quest.

Kinda disturbing picture.
Anyway, glad to hear that you're back to filming. I wish you luck, and hope that you keep with it this time. I think it should turn out really cool if and when it's done. So yeah, hooray for getting back to brickfilming.

Welcome to JK's art style.
Also I just finished a scene. I should find a way to fill my kind of empty looking blue background more in future but the scene wasn't too long so it's not too big a deal.

So I might be finally getting back into this, did some more audio work and a tiny bit of animation. I was also messing around in Sony Vegas and decided that fullscreen is probably the best look for this film.

As I said in the Frames from your upcoming Film thread, I really like that first frame. And the third one's quite nice as well. JK's line in his drawing just made me realize how awesome the screenplay and dialogue must be in this film. You know, this might turn into a classic once it's finished.
Heh, thanks. That was actually my line by the way. Speaking of lines, seeing as JK redubbed his, I might redo mine as well. Not only because my voice is a lot more mature now but also because I've got better at writing and such, so I might slightly change some somewhat awkward sounding lines. Also, some of the shots (including the night cave one) have been slightly colour corrected in post production, and I have to say that they look a LOT better.
I've also been designing a set for the scene where they meet that girl character. Here is it so far.

I wish I could get this good quality with the film. :I

It's nice to see that you are working on this again!
If you need me to record new lines from any script rewrites you do, let me know. ![]()

It's okay, I might need you to do one seeing as there was one teeeeenneeey tiinnnyyy thing i forgot.
Turns out the main characters are telepathic and can magically tell what someone's name is.

Whoops. Hope you can fix it.
(There were no introductions, were there?)
Mmyep. Maybe I could just badly edit in Microsoft Anna or something.

JK, you are so brilliant.

So I'm really not sure what to call this quarry place. :I I don't need to have a sign, but it would make for a cool shot.
Check here for more pictures of the set.

You should write in small letters on the archway "ANP was here" ![]()

It's not the proper Squidy archway. If it were, it would be light grey with a more curved arch and the supports would be trice as tall. Also, it's always set at an angle.
(Also, unrelated to it, I saw a classical paining a few months ago and realized that it had the exact same arch
)
