Topic: Meat Quest update thread
Almost a year after the script was finished, I have finally decided to make a production thread for my medieval film. Now, although I haven;t done any animation for it in quite a long time (loss of motivation, distractions, ....TF2 ) I am still slowly moving along with the film.
Recently I did a few test animations for the film and they actually look pretty good, but I keep shying away from doing actual production of the film because of two main things; audio problems, In quite a few of some people's lines there's a bit of noise (though JK said he'd redo his soon), but Audacity can't remove it properly, it either only removes it when no one is speaking or makes everything sound distorted. And set building, you've probably noticed that in most of my films my sets...well, they suck. All the sets I make are bland and lifeless and have little to know detail at all. I have almost no knowledge on good set building and looking at BuilderBrother's medieval thread just makes me extremely jealous. So if any of you have tips on better set building, PLEASE tell me.
Anyway, enough of the rants, this is definitely going to be my biggest film yet, and not just in terms of length, the complex sets and fight scenes, better lighting, more actors, but don't expect it to be a 30 minute epic, I don't want this film to get over-hyped (I really need to get better at those sword fights).
So I'll try to get this film out as soon as possible without straining myself, and I'll get myself motivated to do more animating and spend less time on other stuff.
EDIT: Also, I may be getting some posters/pics up soon.
