Hint: This guy played in a Clint Eastwood movie.
he looks like the love child of Nicholas Cage and Andy Kaufman
OK, I'll take a guess.
Escape from Alcatraz
Released in 1979
Director: Don Siegel
Stars: Clint Eastwood
OK, I'll take a guess.

Nope.
And, I didn't say that the movie was directed by (or featured) Clint Eastwood, I just said that the guy has already played in a Clint Eastwood movie ![]()
Hmm, it could possibly be some Clint Eastwood documentary...?
![]()
It's a sci-fi movie.
From the looks of the newscaster, it must be more of a disaster film. I'll take another guess.
War of the Worlds (the original, from 1953)
Stars Gene Barry and Ann Robinson (who played Tom Cruise's characters' in-laws in the 2005 film).
Produced by George Pal.
Won an Academy Award for Best Special Effects the following year.

Oh gosh, I can't believe I missed that; so a sci-fi movie you say? Mickey has a good point on the disaster thing, could be it. To be honest he reminds me a little of Eduard Khil. ![]()

Good try, but this is not the movie you're looking for.
It's a more recent film ![]()
I think you should post a new hint.
Good idea.
Hint: Bill Paxton
Apollo 13
1995
Tom Hanks
Bill PaxtonIf Bill Paxton is the guy in that frame (but I doubt he is, as that doesn't look very much like him) then I'm almost definitely wrong.
Nope, and he's not the guy in the frame. Sorry.
Apollo 13 is not really a sci-fi movie.
And it's more recent than 1953...
WHHAT? Firefox is like the only sci-fi movie Clint Eastwood's been in!

The guy we're looking for has played in some Clint related film (not necessarily sci-fi). The movie the frame is from is a sci-fi film though.
It's "Future Shock"
- 1994 movie
- The guy in the frame is Eric Parkinson the director of the same movie
- Filmed in California.
