Thanks guys!
I actually don't have that many of them. In that particular shot I placed the Roman figures where they'd be seen, and then put axs/spears/tall pointy things in the hands of some random figures that I stuck in the back.
Then I turned the weapons sideways to maximize on their width. Finally, after using every long pointy thing in my collection, it made it look like there was a much larger force there than there really was.
And I agree, firefighters aren't nearly as fun/useful to have in large-ish quantities. ![]()
@Pritchard, Wow! Looks great, for some reason, I love the way the guy on the right is positioned.
Thanks guys!

The only minifigs I have in large quantities are Johnny Thunders, and Agents and Inferno Henchmen. ![]()
Wow, that looks really good, lighting and all!
The lighting is fabulous. I like it, I really do. Keep doing whatever you're doing.
Wow, fantastic lighting there KAB.
Also look who got back into animating.

Hehehe. Yep it is. I'm not really sure if I should keep the black bars or not though. Thoughts?

I think it'd look a bit "fuller" without them, but this is one frame. You'll have to make tests with and without them. IMO I think they're really cool and all, but not necessary. Are you shooting with a widescreen camera, or are you just cropping it? Those are my thoughts on them. ![]()
I'm just cropping it. I'm still using a Logitech 9000. Howeevr there have been some widescreen films with the 9000 that actually look really good (see every CrazyEd video ever).

@Jstudio I think it looks good. The lighting is a bit dark in the foreground though. Another thing you could maybe remove are the white light 'blobs' on the heads and helmets. Personally I find them to go away when I re-position the lamps to be a bit more horizontal. The blurry background is very swell in my opinion, but the pure blue is just a bit too empty. Try putting a tree or a rock there. Kind of like the one minifigure.
@KAB Wow, just wow... I am amazed at the quality of the lighting. The electric piano looks really cool and so does the drum set. If they're mocs then kudos to you sir! The floor is a little dusty though. Try dusting it off before animating or otherwise the dust will move around, leading to very distracting 'grain' in the video (I had to learn it the hard way: link.). The image size is quite tiny. Is this because of the image sharing site? If not try investing a bit of money in a camera that shoots a higher resolution (and by the looks of it the picture isn't in widescreen so ya might want to look at that). Do tell me when the video comes out, I quite want to see it.
The lighting's kinda dark in the foreground because there is a wall behind the man at the front, so I guess that kinda makes sense. Also yeah, I guess the pure blue does seem a bit empty, but I really didn't know what else to put there. I'm really quite awful at set building. At least I'm kinda getting better at cinematography (I hope..).

Thanks for letting me know about the dust Keesret, I'll sort it out before I continue.
As for the image size, my camera is a DSLR, so it saves it as many different sizes around my computer. I just happened to upload the smaller size.
The instruments are indeed mocs, and I am especially pleased with the drum kit. You will see a much more detailed version of it in the film, but I have to admit I got inspiration from NXTManiac
The movie release date is still not definite, however I'm hoping to have it out by Christmas. I am going to make sure this will be perfect though, as I want to do the song justice, and make a legendary (I hope) music video series.
I like it, good character blocking, and nice framing. I kind of like the blue background, nice contrast between it and the stuff in the foreground.

oh no
Oh yes!
