OK, Legocloniac, you may post your pic right after this post, but please stop name-calling/spamming.
@Larry, the light streaks on the right look really unnatural. The lens-flare and the bright light are fine, but those streaks need to go. Other than that, there's not much to comment on.
Although there is some dust on the guy's head.... ![]()
Legocloniac, seriously?
Mickey isn't a jerk for stating the rules of this thread, if anyone's the jerk it's you for not being patient enough to wait until someone else can get enough feedback for their own frame.
Is that Pikachu in the backround
? Nice frame Btw!
Thanks! And no
that's not Pikachu, although I wish it was ha ha.

Thanks mate! I've already made the final version of the video so I'm not gonna fix it now but you are totally right.
Lens flares can be nice when they're done subtely and in moderation. And of course, when it makes sense for them to be there. I know you're aware of this already, but it does look unnatural and cheesy. Good on you for picking up on that yourself ![]()
can I put mine up now, since he uploaded it?

Frame requires two comments (feedback) so sure, you can!
Thanks. Again I'm really sorry about earlier everyone.
Heres my frame
It's very dark, I'm assuming this is a night thing. Also, there is light showing through the space between two bricks, on the left side; this can greatly detract from the production value of a film. I don't expect you to re-shoot, but in the future I suggest checking for this before you shoot a darker scene (or even a bright one) and put some bricks of any color right behind the space where light is coming through to block it, it will make a shot look a lot nicer. ![]()
Thank you. It didn't occur to me to remove that. ![]()
Oh, did you spin that wheel while taking the picture? I like that.
Random yellow plate looks odd, though.
Yah, I can see how that looks weird. This scene is in a factory hall way with yellow plates every 4 feet or so. This is also supposed to look ominous, as It will be a mini horror brickfilm. I think I will re-shoot to fix some problems and set the scene better. I also got the idea from something I saw in Sharks and Clowns. Thanks for the feed back! ![]()
Here's a frame from my upcoming animation Caden Hawke and the Staff of Kauket.

They've stopped for a moment to check the map. Michael (the guy on the right) is having a little snooze.

That's a nice frame you have there.
I agree with ANP, that's a good frame.
I can tell that the light around the torches was added in post, but that type of thing always looks worse in a still frame.
It'll be fine in the moving clip.
Oh, and the character designs are pretty cool, especially the guy on the left. ![]()
Very nice, good depth of field, the minifigs look nice, and the lighting looks great.

Frameo.

Yeah, that was kind of fluke. My lights are dying, and I only realised after filming several scenes that there's a heck of a lot of flicker, but since it's all supposed to be lit by torches, it actually came out fine. It's just the non-underground scenes that I'm not looking forward to - I'm finding it difficult to replace the bulbs.
Incidentally, I just got a bunch of Ninjago sets, and I've changed my macguffin for this to the Staff of Kauket, who's an evil Egyptian Goddess of Shadow. I'll post images of the main temple set that I'm building soon, once I've finished it.
@animationIsaac
That's a nice set, though I'm not sure what most of the things on/around the shelves are. Also, what's the red on the fig's hand? Is that part of the story? If he's just cut his hand/killed someone, he's looking pretty happy about it.
I suggest cleaning that gunk off of the figure's hand.

I agree with ANP (unless it's supposed to be blood or something). I also find it a little colorless/lots of tan, including the head. ![]()
