It has to sort of look like the picture once you're done with your edits. No like putting a big black square in the middle that covers up other people's work

Really: Don't erase other people's edits please. That's a tad obnoxious. Just try to make good edits in the first place and everybody can be happy.
Well, I think you can excuse NXT in this case.
He didn't really cover them up, he blew them up.
At least it was imaginative. 
Olson, don't resize images making it smaller, making it smaller disrupts other edits.
Sorry, didn't actually realize I did. Ha.
