Could you re-phrase your question? I'm confused about what you're trying to do.
I think he's talking about plugging in his camera to a bigger screen so he could see the display better.
no im using a olympus FE 230 that happens to come with a cord that i cans plug into my vhs and there with another cord send the image to my tv screen, so wich way should i choose??
Again, what are you trying to do? Capture and store images/videos onto VHS tapes? Display live video from the camera onto your TV? Those are the things you can do given what minimal information you have given us.
Neither cord is necessary if you're animating in the 21st century with a digital camera and PC. The important cord would be the USB cable to transfer your images.
Looking at the specs of your camera, though, I don't see much in the way of manual control, which is necessary for stop-motion animation.
What he's talking about is using his TV as a larger screen. His tv probably is not that new so that means it does not have the necessary connections to hook to the camera, thus he uses the vhs player sorda of as an adapter. I have the same kind of situation here at my house. Makerimages, whatever works better for you. Just remember, the more wires involved, the more likely something like accidently bumping the camera is going to occur.

your 50% right , my tv is old , but im not using the player as an adepter, but as an extension link between a shorter and a longer cord,
