I haven't watched Nickelodeon for 4 years. I'm sorry to say this, but they just became too cliche with all of the sitcoms and really bad movies.

I know. They came out with a third Fred movie a few weeks back. I just watch the cartoons (FairlyOddparents) and stuff. They really need to come back with all the classic cartoons like Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

Anyways, back on-topic, Bringing Down the House (2003)

It was funny, yes. I wasn't a fan of the racial stereotypes, considering my cousins on my mom's side are from another country, and some friends of mine are African-American.

Toy Story 3
Definitely the best movie of the trilogy. Also, it's been like 5/6 years I didn't cry at a movie. Of course there were others that were very emotional, but at the end of this one I just couldn't resist.

Spoiler (click to read)

Lotsie's story was touching too. The incenerator scene was very well done, but since I knew they would be saved, it didn't feel as emotional as it probably would have been if their destiny was unknown.

Probably the best Pixar movie I've seen. Now I have to see Cars 2 and Brave. 5/5

I didn't think Pixar could do a movie that was worse than Cars, then they did Cars 2 and it's absolutely Pixars worst movie, its crap.

Today I finished watching Spiderman the animated series and its a good show but its not really as good as Batman the animated series.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The reason people hate Cars 2 is because they probably expected way more from Pixar, it's really dumbed down for a Pixar film, but this one was really aimed at childred due to the toys behind it selling really well among really young kids. it's kinda bad the film but not total crap. There is great animation to enjoy and pretty good action scenes. And hilarius easter eggs. But they definatly should have used Bruce Campbell more. least Pixar film definatly, but not total crap. but disappointing.

TRON
mini/delirium I thought this was a great movie(obviously). The CGI was brilliant, for its time. The acting was quite good, Kevin Flynn was portrayed as crazy as I always believed him to be. I was a bit bothered by the little girly leaps they took, though. Tron(the character) was amazingly done, I gave a cheer when he was first introduced.

Spoiler (click to read)

The MCP was good, I like how they portrayed him as a giant red crayon.XD

It had a few funny scenes, as well as a few annoying scenes, such as when

Spoiler (click to read)

they start kissing while Tron is waiting for their help.

Overall a good movie, I quite recommend it. 7/5

Wild, Wild planet

The Matrix obviously copied off of this, especially the gun fight scene! Trollolololololo, trolololo!

This was the only "Gamma I Quadrilogy" that I actually sit all the way through, It way actually sorta good. If you're a fan off cheesy 60's film's (It's not a cheesy as "Batman: the movie") or old Sci-fi Flicks you might want to check it out.

The last movie I watched was Lockout.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

West Side Story (1961)

Everyone kept telling me it was all sad and all, but it was fine. All the songs were really catchy, so I found myself snapping my fingers a bunch of times. I'm adding this to my Top Ten.

World Trade Center (2006)

Wow, Stone. You couldn't make it look more trashy and fake. I swear, this was pure Hollywood. It was just really messed up. Mixed in with crappy acting, this film was a huge mess.

As a movie, it was pretty decent. As a comedy, it was mind-blowing. mini/tongue

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Hunt For Gollum

Pros: Free, on Youtube, LOTR film (Albeit fan-made.)

Cons: Gandalf looks kinda silly, the way Aragorn hauled Gollum around was cheesy, and it didn't have the real actors.

It was decent, as long as you understand that it's a low-budget fan-film. The orcs were surprisingly very good looking. (For orcs...) The plot was meh, but I'm so hyped for the Hobbit right now that anything set in Middle-earth is instantly ten times better than it really is. I didn't care for the "Dream/vision" sequence, and most of the CGI could have been improved, but it was an enjoyable forty-five minutes.

I'd suggest you at least give it a shot. 3/5

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985)

That was great, it was real funny. I enjoyed it. Around the part where

Spoiler (click to read)

Pee-Wee slides down the pole and appears, as if by magic, in his clothes,

I was like, "How did that happen?" and I answered myself "Oh, that's right, it's a Tim Burton film.". But, during the studio backlot chase, it started to get old and slow and I didn't really laugh as much. But, overall, it was a great film.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
One of the best films I've seen in a long time. 10/10

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof
Great performance from Liz and Paul, didn't like it as much as Virginia Woolf though. 8/10

Suddenly, Last Summer
Loved it, very disturbing ending sequence (where Liz Taylor narrates), Liz delivered an amazing performance here. Katharine Hepburn was great, though her performance here wasn't as great as her performances in other films. 8/10

No, the film just follows cartoon logic.

But yes it is an amazing movie

My Week with Marilyn
It was a good film, Michelle Williams' acting made it better. It was an amazing performance, it really felt like looking at Marylin, and not an impersonation of her. Can't say the same about the one playing Collin Clark.
In the end, not impressive or amazing, but enjoyable and well done.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It was an okay movie, all I can really say is, meh.

The Hunger Gamesh
Quite interesting. Pretty good, I expected more out of it due to all the attention it got. Seemed boring at first, then a tad gruesome, then it started getting good. Camera man had some shaky hands. mini/lol
I still don't understand why people are obsessed over it.... 6.8/10

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I guess this sort of counts, 'cause it's a short film. Plus, there's no release thread for it.

Meet the BeatLess!

If you didn't already know, the newest LEGO short film comedy made by the guys who made The Great Disturbance is now available for downloading!

Anyways, I love this film. It's great to see them working on another masterpiece! Plus, they've improved since their last film. The animation is better and not choppy at all. Also, I didn't really spot any real light flicker. It was filled with lots and lots of jokes, and there was

Spoiler (click to read)

this staircase shot where the characters slid down the railing, that was really nicely filmed.

I loved every second of it. mini/smile

Darby O'Gill and the Little People

I had never seen this before, and I enjoyed it quite a bunch. mini/smile
The story was pretty clever, and Darby is a really fantastic character.
For it's time, the effects in this are spectacular. The "horse of a different colour" the banshee, and Darby falling in the well was a bit rubbish, but the forced perspective was absolutely amazing.
mini/dizzy
They had really tiny people, with big people, but it looked like it was actually real, and it was completely in-shot.

Also it has Sean Connery singing.
