Re: YouTube

Thanks guys!

@Sonjira: Don't worry, just keep making brickfilms and you'll get lots more subscribers. mini/wink

Re: YouTube

Aye, Aye, Capitan!

By the way, has anyone heard about how they are rewarding a lot of the top partners with plaques and other stuff.. Just thought some of you might find it interesting.

Re: YouTube

same here sonjira,
just about to hit 60 subs, and just reached 3000 video views. mini/smile

Re: YouTube

@Pretty much the last 10-15 posts Congratulations! It's great to hear so many fellow brickfilmers come so far! I personally have 66.

@MW I like it, it's fairly unique.

@Sonjira It took me more then a year to even get 10 subscribers, but after I actually started caring for my films and having some patience that number skyrocket to 66 in just a few months. Hang in there and it should work out mini/smile

Re: YouTube

I'm currently 414 views away from 10,000 total views! mini/bigsmile
Also, when I hit 100 subscribers, I'm thinking of making a 2nd channel. though, I'm not sure yet.
What do you guys think?

Re: YouTube

Why would you? maybe when you have 10,000 subscribers, that would be a good idea.

Re: YouTube

I would personally like to keep the majority of my content on one channel. I might put video game related videos on a separate channel, but everything else (Brickfilms, Behind the Scenes, etc.) on my main channel. Why divert views to different accounts?

Re: YouTube

I just made an alt channel and I'm thinking I'll just keep the good finished brickfilms on my main channel and upload tests and BTS on the alt channel.

Re: YouTube

Speaking of alt channels, how DO you make another channel?
I was thinking of having three seperate ones: one for brickfilms (minifig051), one for other animation (BoxFigs), and one for live-action (Chee-Z Films).

By the way, there's something I've been wondering: I know that in the past there was a limit to the length of a video a non-partner can upload (15 minutes). But now I've seen more videos that are over 15 minutes. Has the rule been repealed, changed, or are there just more partners than there used to be? I need to know this because I found out Bricks: Episode 1 is over 15 minutes (my pre-editing estimate was 12 minutes).

(I'm new at this; I made an account only a few months ago.)

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: YouTube

To make a new account, just log out and make a new one. You'll need a new E-Mail though. Unlike a bunch of sites I'm pretty sure that YouTube doesn't have a rule against making multiple accounts (I have the habit of extensively reading the terms of sites).

Second channels can be nice, but I think three might be a bit excessive. I like having a main channel for only finished films, where I only like, favorite, and promote videos that have to do with brickfilming, or LEGO, and then I have an alternate channel for tests, non-proper films, and silly videos.
Unfortunately, thus far, YouTube has been glitchy, and my attempts to upload my mash-ups have been failures. I do not know what the problem it.

Re: YouTube

Unless the content is pretty different from the stuff on your main channel, I probably wouldn't.

Re: YouTube

I passed 115,000 total views sometime in the past week, and 1500 on my Shark-Repellant Bat-Spray. And almost to 110,000 on Batman: Infiltration. Unfortunately that's probably one of my least favorite videos, but I can see the truth in getting views from unoriginal copyrighted character films. XP

Re: YouTube

I am thinking about making a new channel. My current one has 124 subs and 3, 000 upload views. However, I want to get away from my old content and start fresh, as I have improved a lot over my 1 year of animating. Also, my current YouTube name doesn't sound professional AT ALL. I'm thinking about LimeBrick, and possibly a LimeBrickGaming. Should I make the switch?

Re: YouTube

By all means, Trodoon. But, maybe you should keep the old one. The way I see it, it was meant more for tests.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: YouTube

I think you should make a new account if you want to make different content, or try to become more professional.
