Repelling Spider, I like what you did with the heading at the very top! A very good use of those 5 px towards a banner, if I do say so myself 
. I have been trying to get into the partner program to get the benefit of the banner but it seems that you have found a way to circumvent that.

Thanks! I had seen a few people use it but not very effectively. I dislike how YouTube changed the Partner Program, because I would've like to have access to the old features.

I believe you can still access the 'old features', but now you just have to be part of a network like TgS or Machinima.
Once part of one of these, you will receive a salary from the network, and you will have to make videos on a scheduled basis.
Well, since minecraft is the only game I play, I guess I should sign up for machinina.
Also guys, kooberz studios is a member of machinina even though all he makes is brickfilms based off of video games.

You can still have the old features without being part of a network. It's just that you have to have a lot more subscribers, like 5,000 or more.
Yeah, you can still gain access to older features without a Machinima or Network contract but as Sonjira said, you've got to have a lot of subscribers. YouTube sort of takes what they know about your channel and your audience size and gives you different features depending on that. (at least that is what I have been able to deduce)

I honestly have no idea how this happened, but i definitely know that I'm signing up for monetization.
