Topic: Lego Gunshot Test

This was a very rough test I did using Sony Vegas for the first time

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGxBkWenO40

I purely did it to test how muzzle flashed and blood splatter would look in my videos
I'd really like feedback about the video and I would like comments on how good or bad it looks.
I'd appreciate it if you liked the video or if not, unfortunately disliked it.

Please don't comment on:
* Lighting
* The actual gun itself as its a different sound
* The way the body fell back

As this was just a test on only the muzzle flash and the blood itself!

Thankyou very much mini/smile mini/bigsmile

Re: Lego Gunshot Test

Umm, where's the video?

Re: Lego Gunshot Test

It's alright, couldn't really get into it if it were an action movie, but keep going, you might strike gold.
Just one thing to say about it, the guys arm that was shooting the gun should have moved more.

I'm feeling it again!

Very nice test, although the blood-splatter effect duration was quite fast and I had to watch the video twice to notice it. And yes, I realize that most guns shoot very fast, but even if you fire just one bullet I believe the muzzle flash would also be there a frame or two longer.

Just some points to help you out mini/wink

Ah okay, I will definitely do that from now on and its quite difficult for the blood to stay there where as the muzzle is simply just a flash and the blood is a physical object! Im not too great at editing you see but oh well! Thankyou for the help  Gopher!
