The big question is: What do you have to sell? mini/smile

Exactly. Like, I've seen some Brickfilmers who have created t-shirts and stuff and have an online store, but do people seriously want to buy that stuff? I probably won't find any use for the store tab unless I gain a lot more subscribers.

Now for 15 bucks, novelty Spider T-shirts. Buy now and get a free mug of your choice or a signature of the man himself!

Haha novelty Spider shirts mini/lol I may make a t-shirt for myself though. mini/smile

Re: YouTube

I just found another "Auto-Generated by YouTube" Channel, check this out:

Everyone's probably seen it but this is the first time for me. mini/eek

Re: YouTube

I had no idea youtube did that, it's pretty cool.

Re: YouTube

Now that the month has ended I can honestly say this month my profit (in Adsense) has gone up by ~30%. In comparison to last fall (November for example) it's still twice smaller though.

P.S. I found my "Apocalypse" Episode 1 in the auto-generated channel. Cool!

Re: YouTube

That's how I found it. I was looking at my newest video and saw it said "As seen in Forums - Bricksinmotion". So yeah. I think all the videos that get posted here are put there. The question is, who gets them? mini/shifty

No doubt that's a good question mini/bigsmile who's the spy on these forums? :DDD If I was asked to do this I would but I'm not the guy.

Re: YouTube

It was probably a moderator who never spends any time on the forums anymore...hmm. (Aled Owen). mini/lol

But, I'm not complaining. Two of my videos are in there. mini/delirium

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: YouTube

I have a feeling that it is not a person who is adding videos to that channel. After all, it is called an "Auto-generated" channel. I would assume that it is really a computer that looks at a variety of things when placing a video in that channel. (tags, description, titles, websites the video was shared on, etc.) I could be wrong of course.

Edit: Here is the answer. YouTube says this about their auto generated channels: "An auto generated channel is created when YouTube algorithmically identifies a topic to have a significant presence on the site. It might be because there are a minimum number of videos or watch views about this topic. We also determine if the quality of the set of videos in that channel meets some thresholds." Re: YouTube

I think they're really neat! It allows some cool options like subscribing so you can see (almost) every new brickfilm added to the web.

Re: YouTube

Yeah, my hypothesis is that it traces where the link was placed. Check your video statistics and there should be one saying originated from bricksinmotion.

Re: YouTube

Thanks all! Also I've been on Youtube for quite a while, but I didn't start brickfilming to long ago.
EDIT: I just noticed I reached 10,000 total views too! Seems to be the week of milestones for me here mini/smile .

Re: YouTube

Does anyone happen to know what this new check mark icon in my video manager means? It doesn't appear next to all of my public videos either... only some of them. When you hover over the icon it says "Published on ...." and then a date. I also noticed that on the videos with this check mark I was not able to change the YouTube license for that video. It just appear there yesterday afternoon though cause it wasn't there in the morning. I did some google searches and no answers came up.
