Re: YouTube

I noticed the same thing. When you schedule a video the icon turns into a time to show you when it'll come out. Other than that I know nothing.

Re: YouTube

It appears, when you scroll over the check, you can see the exact date and time you published the video.

EDIT: Ah herp derp, I just repeated what you said. mini/blankexpression

I now have access to create a Store tab on my channel's page. This was only available to Partners and now that I'm a "New" Partner I'm wondering if all of the other "New" Partners have this as well. It's pretty cool. mini/smile

I got it too, but I am not a new partner.

I'm also not a partner. I also don't think that it's for people with AdSense accounts, because I don't even have one. Maybe it's just for people that get featured on those cool compilation channels.

So, I tried it out, and it comes up with random stuff (books, t-shirts, etc.) that I don't own. Then it says that you might need an account on Topspin.com or Cafepress.com. I guess I'll just leave the Merchandise tab to rot in the dust and be devoured by hungry vultures. mini/tongue

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: YouTube

Yup, I have it too. For those who want to know where to find it I made a small image collage.

First go to your channel and then channel settings. You'll see a menu called default tab. Select store tab and it pops up.

When you click on the store tab you'll be brought to a screen like the one on the top of the collage. If edit it you'll be brought to the menu on the right and from there you'll be able to edit each one individually, and be brought to the top left, bottom left and and bottom right menus respectively. The store won't be visible unless you add an item
Hope this helps!

Re: YouTube

Hmmm, I don't have it, but I did get a message a month ago or so saying that I can now upload videos that are longer than fifteen minutes. I thought only partners could do that. mini/confused

Re: YouTube

Nope! That policy got changed a while back. Now you can do that whenever you respect the guidelines and don't have any strikes.

Re: YouTube

Yes! I got partnered (full partnership) with SocialBlade! Just signed the contract. Can't wait to use the new features

Re: YouTube

How does full partnership come by? Do they give you a form, message, etc? Cause our channel is enabled for monetization, but we dont have the cool banner option or other partnership tools.

Another free stopmotion program? Possibly! View here! http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/po … 6/#p274396

Re: YouTube

You have to get partnered by a network, for example Machinima

Re: YouTube

Oh, okay. But what kind of networks are there? mini/smile

I've been wondering the same thing, do any networks exist for BrickFilmers, or any animator in general for that matter?

Re: YouTube

No, I don't think so. But most of the networks accept most kind of content, including Brickfilming. They usually focus on gaming but if you look in to the details it says what content they are looking for, SocialBlade, IGN, TGN and Machinima are all good networks

Re: YouTube

Well, since YouTube's been taking subscribers and accounts, I've only lost 3 subscribers total.

Oh, and don't forget The Game Station on the above list.

The Dead Workers party is with them, and (majorly exited here) I am working side by side with them to produce a 3D animated Minecraft video! mini/bigsmile

Re: YouTube

Networks are evil! mini/bigsmile at least that's my opinion, I'd stay away from Machinima unless you make lots of gaming videos. I've seen some stop-motion videos though, but mostly it's gaming.

P.S. I wanted to share with ya guys my new background! http://www.youtube.com/user/larrystudio … sults_main

Re: YouTube

Ha! I finally got an email from youtube about monetization and there is no way I am going to accept. A couple of cents for ads on your video is not worth it. The only reason I want to be a partner is if I could get the banners and stuff. mini/sad

Cool banner! What network are you on? (Or are you using a network? I'm confused...) mini/confused

The "Network" I'm on is Youtube mini/bigsmile ha ha. Honestly, I never been in a network probably never will, youtube partnership is the farthest I wanna go.

I've been a youtube partner for like 15 months now, all I can say is that the features are worth it (they were cooler when we had the old design though) and thanks to those ads on my videos I managed to completely update my Lego (bricks, minifigures, some sets, weapons, accessories and etc.) so I wouldn't say that ads are so bad. I mean after all getting some money for brickfilm projects only makes the brickfilm better which makes your audience happier mini/smile

Re: YouTube

I've been considering this for a short while now, and I wanted to ask you guys. When I start putting my new films of the internet, do you think I should, instead of putting them on YouTube, put them on a place like vimeo, or blip? As to avoid major copyright issues.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.
