Wow that's great Repelling Spider! Can't wait to see the final product! ![]()
That is... extremely cool. ![]()
Looks great, Repelling Spider! ![]()
Thanks guys!
@coolasice11 - I'm using the 18-55 kit lens.
@Kees - As 1011Ev said, the logo is actually from some old winter sports sets from the early 2000s. I would have preferred to make my own logo and company and use it instead. If it wasn't for the fact that this is a short entry into the animation challenge I may have done that. Also, I probably should have tried the blue sky first. I had a huge piece of white foam core board handy and just used it. Oh well.
Oh, and the gray minifigure in the distant background is supposed to be like a decorative statue.
Nice frame Spider! ![]()
One thing, the camera isn't quite straight, in my opinion it might look slightly better if it was completely straight. Overall though, a very nice frame, I'm looking forward to seeing the film! ![]()
Thanks! The camera actually is pretty much straight if you check it with the stuff towards the middle of the frame. The reason why it looks like it isn't straight is due to some lens distortion because of the wide angle on the lens I'm using. I could've compensated for this by zooming but I liked the look of this.
Your entry for the challenge was great by the way, I don't know if I'll be able to beat the actual motion of someone getting hit.
Also, I probably should have tried the blue sky first.
Actually, since you've got so many gray elements in your image, having a blue sky as well would get a little distracting.
Yeah, I just figured it was set in Seattle. ![]()
Keesret, it's not bad, but the giant brown pillar in the middle of the frame is a bit odd. Try turning the camera so that it falls in better with the rule of thirds, perhaps behind the minifgure?
Pritchard, ya might not want to feature the LEGO name in a promotion for OYO toys. Just sayin'.

Oh.....Didn't think of that, so much for his reading a newspaper. I'll just change it to a pirate map or something.
But I guess that whole clip will be going to the recycle bin. ![]()
The one silver lining: I can switch those dirty bricks out for cleaner ones. Thanks for pointing that out.
