The Outsiders

The only Francis Ford Coppola movie I've seen. It was decent, though it just went by too fast.

Princess Mononoke
Yeah, I'll be watching this again. One of the best animated films I've ever seen.

Jack and Jill
Actually had a few funny moments though overall it wasn't anything special.

Megamind

Wow, that was pretty impressive. Dream Works rarely disappoints me, however, I wasn't quite as excited for this so much as most of them, but this was really interesting and I'd highly recommend it. The story took a very, very unexpected twist that really made it amazing.

I've seen that one twice!
Now everyone in my house only says "speeider", instead of Spider most of the time.

Millian Dollar Baby

Absolutely amazing film, and the ending had a twist that you never saw coming.

Dances with Wolves

I gotta admit, this isn't a film that I stood up on my feet and applauded for. But, overall it was a mildly enjoyable film.

The Fat Boy Chronicles
This movie seemed dark and a bit depressing at most times. Towards the end, it started to lighten up.
I liked it, most bits seemed to make you a tad sad. From a cinematographical angle, the movie had good shots, scenery, well placed angles, good acting, lighting, sound, all of it. Not too good for the younger crew if you know what I mean, (especially with some nudity)... 4/5.

Twister

Watched this in my American Film Study class. My teacher kept saying that this was supposed to be a bad movie (we were watching it only to study it's sound design), but I actually thought the movie as a whole was pretty captivating (other than the generic romantic subplot). Very suspenseful at times and pretty well made. 7/10

Also, this is my first post on the forums since July of last year. Wow.

Tuff Turf
Enjoyably trashy 80s teen flick that I got genuinely envolved in. James Spader was awesome in it, as was a young (cocaine-using at that point) Robert Downey Jr, and the 80s clothes were amazing. Really recommend this one.
EDIT: Oh, and it has a crackin' soundtrack.

Kickboxer
Really fun. Just a plain old awesome film that I could watch again easily.

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I actually watched a handful of movies when my computer was down, so here is a review for all of them.
Black Wolves
I liked the fact that the police couldn't catch the Black Wolves. Also, the ending was completely unexpected. Plus, the soundtrack was awesome.
And the movie was 4 hours long.
10/10

Hop
T'was hilarious.
9/10.

Gnomeo and Juliet
Pretty good film.
9/10.

Honey
New York turns out to be not such a good place to live. Plus, a certain word was said in the film (which was PG) which felt like the movie should've had a Rated R rating.
7.5/10.

How to become a perfect person in just 3 days
I did not understand a single word said. Plus, the soundtrack was annoying and didn't seem to fit at most parts. And 50 balloons tied to a chair won't lift a 5th grader.
1/10.

Overall, they were all pretty good films (except for the last one).

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Adventures of TinTin

My goodness, I love this movie. Stayed true to the comics (which I loved), the action was fantastic and cartoony at the same time, the transitions were super creative, and I loved how they made the movie go as if you already knew the characters. They didn't waste any time with introductions, they just went along with the characters.

I'm not sure about what else to say, but I really liked it.

The Dictator (2012)

So racist... yet so funny! I loved it, especially the unexpected turns and older video clips.
I totally recommend it, 5/5!

Safe House

Watched it again yesterday. It has some decent acting in it but the script itself is very cliche, the film is very predictable I could hardly call it a thriller.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Tron: Legacy

Ok, it might be old, and the 4th time I've watched it, but it never gets old for me, the best movie ever for me. mini/yes

Okay movie, I liked it. I'm tempted to see the sequel, but I heard it was lame.

The Avengers
Finally got around to seeing it. My gosh, it was awesome. I only rendered about 75% of it in my mind, because we were forced to sit in the front row, where my eyes wanted to murder me afterwards. It was far greater than I expected. I anticipated that it would focus around one of the characters, such as Captain America or Iron Man, but luckily there was a very good balance between all of them. I did stay for the credits for a bit, and they definentally opened the opportunity for a sequel, because I believe that was

Dr. Doom (though I may be wrong).

Overall, amazing film.
