So I recently checked out the Machinima partner program and saw that you do get the extra features with that. I checked the site but couldn't find info (T'was all vague). I wondering if any current Machinima partners could tell the contracts you need to sign and anything that changes and necessities.

Anyway, I had 400 subscribers may 2011 and I now have 347 you see this isn't the part I don't understand.
I haven't made a shown of life for that year long break, and that put me down the 366 subscribers as of yesterday.
I released a small test yesterday before I went to bad less the a day ago, and i now have 347? I lose 19 subscribers in just a few hours. The film itself has like 10 views so i don't understand. I don't think I am good but what in the world was that? I feel like garbage if that all happened because of that video. And if it is just people not interested in my newer videos then i have to make a decent video soon to get more attention, but this is added a lot to my stress because I am starting to feel like I need to make videos constantly like last year. I don't think I am good but if I am that bad i lost a lot of confidence in my skill. What do you guys think?
YouTube has been deleting inactive accounts, thus subscriber rates have dropped for many channels. There's been some arguments that it's not being done well, but the goal is that your subscriber count is an accurate representation of the people actually watching your videos.
Honestly, I'm glad YouTube's doing this - since I was annoyed that half of the people subscribed to me seem to have vanished from the face of this earth. Are my videos that bad??
funmiproductions wrote:Yeah. They Said it was because I made $5 really fast, so they think someone clicked my ads like really fast, and so it would not be fair to the people who make the ads, so my account was disabled and the money that I made has been returned.
how fast did you accumulate the money? Like 5 dollars in an hour?
$5 in a week.

And am I the only one who enjoyed his Silence film? Shame on you people, shame.

Same thing happened to me! Wich is BS because there is no way for me to control who clicks on my adds or who spams them... I appealed 3 times.... I do not know what to do....
Ok I've set up my AdSense account, but now I'm having trouble trying to get my custom add on my channel. Whenever I go to my HTML editor, it won't let me edit the HTML on my channel, so therefore I can't insert the code they gave me for the ad. Any help?
Just crossed the 2.5 million views line!
Feeling tired just like after marathon! ![]()

That's ridiculous, I've made over 5 dollars in a week before.
I unfortunately cannot answer your question, Kees. However, I will add something to the other discussion. The most likely reason why your adsense account got disabled was not due the amount earned but due to the sudden increase that is not typical of you earnings. I of course am just assuming that earning $5 in a week is not normal for you. Was their a dramatic increase in the number of clicks? Perhaps those clicks were all from the same IP address and Google found it fishy.
Yeah, I'll send an appeal this week, but I doubt youtube will give it back. And if they do, they just wasted everyone's time
Youtube has become a place where the established Youtubers and opportunists can profit off of and then there's everyone else.
It is indeed a hard battle and until you get any motion from Youtube's bureaucracy, I suggest an alternative, such as Blip.tv.
As for contracting with Machinima, you mean the same folks that contracted Meganspeaks and helped spawn a generation of vlogging trolls on Youtube? My opinion: Don't bother contracting with them. But if you must, search online on how other contractors experienced with Machinima.
Doesn't mean that they signed a good contract. Get your parents involved if you're still young. Read the contract thoroughly because some Machinima contractors have been screwed over because they were gullible and the raw end of a deal. Thefourmonkeys, Bionicle28, Filmyguy, etc have a strong fanbase and lots of subscribers. Can't compare to mere 100 subscrbers and 1000 views.
I gotta agree with Lechnology there. Youtube might be doing some stupid stuff lately but even bigger wankers are Machinima peeps and their BS contracts. You can get really screwed anytime there....
