First, up the contrast on the decals. The brighter colors need to stand out more, and the dark colors (On Bats at least) should be darker.
(For example: Parts of Batman's torso should be black and not just a darker gray, Lantern's green should be brighter, the "S" logo should stand out more and be brighter.)

You did a really good job making those decals. They all look great with the exception of Super-Girl, and just give her a full shirt and that will be fixed. mini/wink

For some reason i never saw you're reply till now.

Any way the I didn't make the Batman Decal so You can't blame Me for that mini/tongue , I used the official Color palette for Hal but My printer seems to have a mind of it's own...               I'm not real happy the way the Supergirl Decal ether.

Any way thinks for the advice.

Re: *The Official Minifigure Critique Thread*

Yeah, my printer is the same way, so I would suggest printing a whole bunch of the same decal in ever so slightly different colors and then seeing which one turns out how you like it. (Like, a whole page of Green Lantern decals) So that even though the colors may not look right on the computer, your printer may "mess them up" to be exactly what you're looking for.

That looks good Pritchard. Though there's not really much to it except for the hair, I love the hair.

Re: *The Official Minifigure Critique Thread*

Pritchard, you might want to change the body or just be careful while filming that you don't get too close to him; that body has a flesh colored neck, right where the shirt is open.

Aha! Or you could color it in, which is absurd.

I didn't notice that, so thanks for pointing it out. I changed the torso to remove that issue, but the blue printing on the first one just looks a lot better to me. mini/blankexpression

Re: *The Official Minifigure Critique Thread*

OK then, ummmm, it could use some improvement.

#1. Which version are you doing, because "Classic" or "Avengers" versions would need bare arms, blue legs and a black body, a "Thor" movie would need black body, black legs and light-gray arms, and an armored would need a blue body, yellow legs  and yellow arms.

#2. Thor rarely has facial hair, and it's never brown. (Unless you're doing the armored, or movie versions, in which case he does have a beard, but it's still blonde.) When he has a beard, it's a full beard, not the stubble on the Indiana Jones face. I suggest going clean-shaven with the old Bruce Wayne face.

#3. This would look a lot better for the hammer head.

That's probably the best option on the hair short of getting the official piece, and you got the cape color right! mini/tongue
I know, it sounds negative, but I'm just trying to help. mini/wink

Re: *The Official Minifigure Critique Thread*

Thanks for the feedback, man! Didn't expect to get such an in-depth reply...

Just a couple of things, though.

I was really trying to go for the style used in the movie. Obviously, he has bare arms at times, and armoured arms at others. The bare arms work for non-fighting scenes, sure, already thought of that, but I tried giving him armoured-arms and it looked a bit pants, because the body is actually grey too. I was going to print out a decal, but I don't want to keep decaling minifig bodies, or I'll just be left with superheroes and no other people (not good).

Already used the Bruce Wayne face for a whole bunch of other superheroes, and I don't particuarly like it anyway. It's just sort of a generic face. Plus, if every character has it, it looks a bit stupid. As far as the stubble goes, I think it just about works (not perfect, I admit) but it's a good stand-in 'til I get the real minifig, which is all this is really supposed to do.

I like the hammer design, though. May see if I can find another flat square 1x1...
