A masking test I made, with a try at a front hand-spring.
Enjoy!

Re: Masking Test

Looks good! Noticed that you cut off just a bit of the guys helmet during the flip, but I only noticed that because I paused it. mini/smile

Re: Masking Test

I like what lord lajaka said, it needs to be slower.

Re: Masking Test

Yes, but the masking itself was good.

Re: Masking Test

Thanks! What is exactly too fast the flip or handspring or both?

The flip

Re: Masking Test

I would say the flip is fine, but the pre-flip isn't.
You needed at least one more frame before he takes to the air. And when he leans forward, you need to ease-in and out more. That only seemed like it was just a one frame movment when it should be at least three.

The hand-spring is the somewhat the same way, the spring itself is good, but the landing and pre-spring are not so great. After the spring, his body should have kept going forward, but slowed down until he stops at about a 45 degree angle, and then he should have stood back up.

Re: Masking Test

I see. Thanks. Will work on it. That did annoy me too, I must admit, but by the time I saw it I'd taken the camera away and, alas, it was too late. Thanks for the advice.
