Does the fact that we have no idea why some people can't get in mean you have to postpone this year's BiM Contest? ![]()
This year's BiM contest probably won't be announced until May anyhow, so that shouldn't be an issue. I do feel badly that this seems to be disrupting the EASTER contest, though that's not an official BiM contest so I don't have anything to do with running it.
LoL Sméagol "it's not my contest so I don't care."
Anyways I think posting the Bim contest in may is a great idea. May (No Pun Intended) I ask how long the contest will run for? Also, what happened to the BiM awards? (Any reply would be appreciated)

That is the opposite of what I said. But I can't solve any issues with EASTER since it's not my place to do so and I don't know a lot about the contest.

It's all still being discussed with staff folks. It's likely to end later than the mid-July deadline that our last few contests have had.
BiM Awards didn't happen last year because not enough eligible voters submitted ballots. Not sure what'll happen this year, Jargon would like to get it going again last I heard.
Yeah, I was joking about the BiM contest.
But to be serious, my friend sent me an e-mail yesterday titled "HELP" because he couldn't get into BiM to enter EASTER. I was able to enter it for him, but the site being down is causing quite a bit of panic for the brickfilming community.
I have to clear my browsing history every time I want to visit the site, and sometimes have to restart the computer, I'm assuming this is for the same reason everyone else is having problems.

I have access to the site on my I pod.
Still seeing people comment off site that they can't get on, weird.
I've just been able to get back to BiM after several days. Sometimes it's a white page, and sometimes I can see the main page and the main forum page, but if I click on a sub forum, I get a 404 error.
The site wouldn't load at all, I used Chrome, Safari, and my iTouch to try and access it.
I'm so glad its back *hugs computer screen*
It'd would go off and on a few days ago, but there have been no problems for me since then. But one thing though, I've found that it was working for people in countries that aren't the U.S.
Looks like it's back for me. Yayzles.
Oh look,I just cleared my cache and now I have access to the site again.
The only days I was able to get on between March 28th through today was on April 1st and today.
Both Sundays, both holidays.
Anyway, I hope I won't get the blank page again.
I have had no trouble for a while.
N00bie question: how come it works for some computers and not for others?
When i use google images I can get it to work sometimes when i can't get it to work by typing it in. (sometimes)
Spread the word: www.tunnelbear.com is a great way to access the site right now (it's also useful in other situations too).
