This is so good! I love how you used the aspect of them still being toys and not people
It's been a long time since I last saw something as epic, well animated and well done as this in this site. I've always been a huge fan of your works, starting from Through the Hatch, and in every short there's something new.
There's nothing wrong in this one, everything looks brilliant. Maybe the editing is a bit confusing in some parts, but other than that, it's perfect.
Probably the best aspect of the film is the animation, which in some parts really impressed me.
I have nothing else to add, nothing I can think of. I simply loved it.
Wow, I am simply at a loss for words. The animation is truely some of the best I have seen in a long, long time. This very well could be a new definition for epicness...
That was awesome...just...awesome.
That was awesome! Love your animation!
I keep watching it again and again.

Amazing.
That was really cool. What was your lighting set-up? Just the overhead light? or did you move lamps around?
I haven't animated anything in over 3 months. I am sorry about that, but I have been working on my magnum opus: Ghost Cat: Port of Call New Orleans

Wow!,stunning animation, great effects, and was fully EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, this is a seriously amazing brickfilm. The editing is brilliant, the motion blur is FANTASTIC (what did you use for that by the way?) and the animation is great too. I cannot begin to think how much time and effort went into this production, bravo sir.
Namchild, you are a mad genius. Once again, you deliver an amazing, mind-blowing brickfilm which just sets itself apart from everything else ever created in brickfilms. The action, the flying, the effects, the slow mo, the slashing, all put together brilliantly in a truly epic stylized over-the-top-fight scene. It reminds me a lot of anime fighting, and I really wish I could animate like you (and other people wish they could animated like me xD).
A few things though, it was a tad chappy, but that's a small sacrifice for the amazing type of style you do (but it is less choppy than usual), damaging the LEGO is rather sickening to me, and I felt myself wishing it had sounds, I know it was a music video, but still...
But once again, truly epic.
I really liked the animation, but I feel like the use of the Ken Burns effect was a tad irritating. But otherwise three thumbs up!!
Very very good animation Good visual effects to ! Great job ! I just think you could make more sound. 5/5
Thanks a lot guys : )
-The blur is made by moving the figurines (or sometimes the camera) as the picture is taken so that it leaves a trail.
eg, 0:52 with the split screen. the top part I move the army as the pic is taken and in the bottom half I'm moving the camera. (All effects are in shot)
-The lighting was the main room light and a lamp to the side.
-I wanted to use a manga style because I haven't really seen that in brickfilms, unfortunately that style (prob to cut production costs) is very Ken Burnsy.
Glad you guys like it though, cheers.
Ah, I understand now about the anime thing.
You know what, this is one of the best brickfilms I have ever seen. I brohoof to that /]*[\
Very, very, very well done, definitely the best brickfilm of the year so far, without question. The animation, albeit a bit choppy, was very well done and most definitely your best animation yet. The music was great, and I didn't need sounds to like it (Though it still could have enhanced it). The effects were astounding, and very well done - especially since they were created in-shot. I personally loved the story (It reminds me of the old Super Smash Bros. video game), and thought it was very well thought out and well executed. Overall, this was a very well done film. I'd rank it up there with Droits D'ateur and Egyptian Holiday in terms of recent brickfilm masterpieces.
5/5
