Topic: Stone Skipping

Here.

Initially this was supposed to be my entry for current animation challenge "A Day at the Beach/Lake",
but I didn't finish it because it was so boring to animate.

Re: Stone Skipping

WHOA that was insane...
The skipping animation was impeccable so I have pretty much no comment on that. It looked perfect.
What else I really liked was in the first scene the blue plates were moving around oh so slightly and it really gave the impression of a lake that's not blatantly turbulent, but more placid. Even the smoothest of lakes move a bit, and I really thought that was awesome.
Also what's with the weird related videos on this video lol

Re: Stone Skipping

Nice work. Smooth animation, nice simple set which suits the purpose. I probably would have used blue tiles in the opening, myself.

I think the skipping of the stone was perhaps too even. In my experience a skipping stone is treated similar to a bouncing ball - each bounce or skip is smaller than the previous one as it loses momentum.
