I can't wait for this man! All your work is so inspiring! Keep it up!
I like how your going to do a Action person film again!
I've been building/experimenting with miniature models to appear out of focus in place of great big skyscrapers for rooftop scenes, or interior shots with windows.

Since they'll always be out of focus, I think they'll work excellently for making Gotham just a bit more expansive.
Here is the building in focus:

I built it with an engine turbine and four mine-cart tracks attached by 1 x 1 bricks with studs on all sides.
For an update on progress: my animation table it done, now I'm just waiting for Noloben to finish up the new animation studio and some black paint for a new backdrop, then I should be able to start filming.
I've also almost finished the News Studio set, which should be found in the Sets and Props Critique thread soon.
I love this building design so much, ANP. Great use of these parts.
Wow, fantastic! I have a feeling, that this will be one of the best brickfilms in brickfilming history. I am really looking forward to it. No pressure... ![]()
Once again ANP, you've blinded us all with pure awesomeness. ![]()
I love the idea of that, and I feel like you executed it well.
However I'm not sure how I feel about Batman's green glowy head. It looks cool, but I think it would be at its full effect if you used it sparingly instead of all the time.
Still looks AMAZING though.

That is an incredibly resourceful use of parts, and I love the Art-Deco look it gives when it's out of focus. Excellent job.
Also: the dust on your camera (I assume that's dust) looks like falling snow.

Also I must say that I really appreciate that you are actually building stuff instead of being lazy and using CGI... We need a lot more creativity in set building these days...
Thanks, guys.
Yep, this will be awesome. I'm hoping it'll be one of the best brickfilms ever made, but I'm sure my film after this will totally blow it away even if it doesn't.

It's actually the night background. It's black with little white dots painted on.

I'm way too lazy to try CGI.
It would take way to much time to find out how to get it right and realistic, plus it would take some time to digitally build stuff them put it in.
Much simpler to think up and build a clever miniature within ten minutes. ![]()

What you're doing is certainly more innovative than standard CGI I must say though. And it looks a lot better.
Stunning job on the building! I prefer this method over CGI any day. I did a somewhat simpler version of it in my Valentine's short and I really enjoyed it and I hope to use it again. Your building design is great! Really looking forward to your film!
Go to say: looking at the whole production stage previews, this looks more than promising. If you need a music composer or a VFX guy, I would like to help getting this film release. I have a thread in the audio section where you can find some more info about my arrangements.
I posted some images of the News studio set. You can look at them here.
Yeah, my sister shall be scoring this, though, I'll keep you in mind if I find there's anything with which she's having trouble, as music is one of the factors which tend to hold up my films for a very long while. I also like your stuff, and it might be good Batman material.
Of course, I won't need that stuff for a long time. The film is going to take ages to animate.
Also, my estimated time of release is now late 2013. Yeah, it's a long while off.
and it may take longer.
But that's my best educated guess for the moment.
So don't get too excited. Wouldn't want you to explode. ![]()
(I'm sure this film will be worth its wait in gold (Don't ask me how that works))
It's Scarecrow's glow-in-the-dark head from Arkham Asylum turned around so that you can't see the face.
Before absolutely ever frame where it's visible, I charge it with a bright torch/flashlight, and take the picture as quickly as possible.
I was pretty afraid the might flicker much, but after doing I Am The Darkness, I found that, if I'm careful, it doesn't, only just slightly sometimes.
It does make it take longer, and it's one extra thing about which to worry, but I love going the extra mile for coolness. ![]()

Wow really? I wouldn't think it could glow that well.
Stunning job with it, it's completely worth the extra effort. I like how you have stylized everything so that it doesn't just look like the LEGO Sets and other Batman films.
