Not really an iconic landmark. Also, there are McDonald's all over the world.

It would be next to impossible for everyone to use the exact same fig in all of the photos.

You know what would be truly awesome? To make a new custom minifig, take a photo of it and then mail that minifig to another brickfilmer. So that the same minifig gets to travel around the world! And it would get to meet all the brickfilmers. That would be awesome.

Of course, it isn't going to happen because it'd be really expensive (not just postage, every person would need to put it in a new box/envelope as most postal companies don't like used packaging. Plus all it takes is one mis-written address, lost parcel or lazy brickfilmer and the chain is lost.

But it would still be awesome. Moreso than having people build their own minifig to look the same (like Joe Vig). Since we can't do that, this thread will fill our awesome quota. I'll go out with my sigfig and take a few photos this week.

Great idea dewfilms! mini/bigsmile

Smile and say hello to people. It costs you nothing and can brighten their day.

Re: Around the World With Miniman

I'll take one up skiing with me. That is when we have a sunny day.

Re: Around the World With Miniman

Wow, that is a story that will be told throughout the ages:

And here is the Day Spudster Took A Picture, After Crashing Into A Tree part of the museum, this way . . . .

Re: Around the World With Miniman

Actually it was before crashing into the tree. I wasn't really functioning until it was dark.

Re: Around the World With Miniman

Okay, someone else really needs to post some.

Re: Around the World With Miniman

I live in a not well-known city.

There is no point in taking a picture in an area no one even knows.

Re: Around the World With Miniman

My sister is gonna make an exchange year in America, she's going to live close to New York.
Maybe she'll be kind for once and do a pic....

Re: Around the World With Miniman

My town is on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan and we have border markers that run through downtown.

I have no idea in kilometres but my estimate for time is about 3 1/2 hours away. mini/wink

I'll find out in distance soon.

EDIT The distance is 550 km and is a 6 hour drive.
