Re: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - Appreciation Thread
I like the fact that Dr. Hooves was the only pony to get cloned in the final group shot of the song. D'oh!

I actually noticed that the first time. xD
He liked the cider so much that when it ran out he went back and got some more.
Good explanation.
Apparently this was the big inspiration behind the cider song:

Daniel Ingram sure does love his classic musicals.
That song was also the inspiration for The Simpsons' Monorail bit.
You know Derpy Hooves?
She's in trouble. A lot of trouble.
Details on what's going on.
What you can do.
I've done my bit. I can't stress how big a deal this is.
I never knew that "derpy" was some kind of obscure epithet for mentally disabled people until people started getting pissy over the use of the name in "The Last Roundup".
This is bull.
That is ridiculous.
Stupid people. I'll try to help ;-;
So you know, this #SaveDerpy deal IS a big thing... bigger than the sites are reporting.

Very fun episode. That was the most highly guarded hospital I've seen.
I did a ten minute sketch during it.

A hospital during the day and a hospital during the night are two very different places.
Insane barking pony is best pony.
(nope, scootaloo)
A fairly good episode. The plot was another sitcom cliché and the moral was very thinly disguised, but the production team always wows me with what they can do with the rehashed stock storylines. It's like Party of One: the "I forgot my own birthday" storyline is always so cringy and obvious, but they made it into one of the best episodes in the season.
I kinda wished RD discovered reading by herself, instead of having to have Twilight introduce her to it.
Twilight hardly forced her to read, nor did she sit there reading to her. She just left the book there, it was completely up to RD to pick it up and start reading.
But had Twilight never given RD the book, RD would never have read (for entertainment) at all.
It's just a minor nitpick.
And had twilight given her a book whilst Dash was not in hospital she probably wouldn't have read it either. THe exact same situation could have happened if the book was just sitting on Dash's bedside from the beginning, without twilight's input.
Of course, we can all learn from this episode about the best way to recruit new bronies.
Also, good news for Derpy.
Saturday's episode has been leaked.
